Chapter 3

I slowly opened the door back at the room and Emma jumped on me. Actually she jumped on her food... We sat on our beds and opened the styrofoam containers and started eating. "Where the hell did you go?" Emma asked me.

"I uh went up to check out the pool and lost track of time." I replied. She nodded her head and quietly continued eating. Once we were done it was about 9:30 and I was pretty tired.

"I think I'm going to go to bed." I said to Emma. I put on my sweatpants and opened twitter.

"Yeah me too. I'll wake you up bright and early tomorrow!"

She shut the lights off and I rolled my eyes at her... "Gee can't wait."

"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!"
I opened my eyes to see Emma flickering the light switch on and off. I'm getting the feeling that this won't be the last wake up call I receive. I roll over and check my phone... "7:30?! EMMA! Magcon doesn't even start until 10!" I said.

"Well I wanted to make sure you had enough time to get ready and we could eat and get a good spot in line and stuff." She replied innocently

I slowly but surely got out of bed and smiled at her as I walked into the bathroom to get ready. She really is excited about meeting these boys so I'll play nice. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and started to put on some makeup. I don't usually wear a lot so I just did a simple wing with my eyeliner and some mascara. For my hair, it's still straight from yesterday so I decided to leave it how it was. I walked into the room and went to my suitcase. I pulled out my favorite pair of Hollister capris and a tank top with my grey and white striped sweater over it. It's the middle of July and I'm not sure how warm or cold it will be so I played it safe with layers, not to mention I think I looked pretty damn cute!

Once we were ready we rode the elevator to the lobby. We walked to the café and I ordered a plain bagel and an orange juice for both Emma and I. "I'm too nervous to eat anything..." Emma said. "Shut up and eat your bagel" I said rolling my eyes and shoving her bagel in her mouth. After we finished we walked to the convention center where Magcon would be held. We we're let through the doors and we were given bracelets. All of a sudden a bunch of girls ran as close to the stage as they could before being restrained by a red velvet rope. Emma grabbed my hand and ran to get a spot. I couldn't see a thing. A man jumped on stage and welcomed us to Magcon. All of the girls cheered including Emma who looked like she was going to pee herself from all the excitement. He announced the boys one by one and I decided to check my phone quick considering all I can see is the back of people's heads. I had a message from my mom. She lives in Boston not far from here and since it was the middle of the summer she said she wants me and Em to come and stay with her until the end of August before I go back to school.

IMessage from Mom: Hi Allie bug! I can't wait to see you and Emma! Did you tell her she's coming yet? Are you having fun?! I love you.

My mom is one of my best friends. My parents divorce broke my heart considering my mom lives 2 hours away from me and I can only see her on holidays and long weekends.

To Mom: hi mom I miss you too! I haven't told Emma yet, she has no idea but Dee is cool with it. I'll call you tonight after Magcon. Love you.

Being the sneaky friend I am I worked out arrangements with my mom and with Emma's moms approval too, she would be staying with my mom and I until summers over. And she has no clue.

"ALEXIS RAE get off your phone we have to go see Cameron first!! His line will be packed! Oh gosh were really going to meet THE Cameron Dallas!!" Emma exclaimed.

"Okay let's go then" I said as she ran dragging me to Cameron's line.
