Phew. It was 12am & my shift ended early than expected. I figured I surprise Jake, so I was gonna walk home.
I clocked out, grabbed my things and rushed out the diner. I accidentally bumped into this guy.
"Oops, I'm sorry sir". I replied.
He simply nodded and proceeded. His head hung low.He looked terrible and sad.
Well anyways I walked home. You would think the city would be way calmed down by this time of night, but it wasn't. It was still busy & loud, with lots of colors flashing by. But sooner or later I made my way home.
"Jake I'm home" I shouted, while placing my coat on the rack & setting my things down.
There was no response. Is he asleep?
"Jake?" I called, while headed to our bedroom.
The door was close, usually it's not.
I heard noises. Unusual noises.
Moaning.
Oh gosh, please just tell me it's just a movie or show.
I opened the door, and there revealed my boyfriend naked on top of a blonde girl who was naked in OUR bed.
"JACOB CHRISTOPHER STONESWORTH WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING" I yelled.
They instantly stopped their little session, and He sat there with a very fake and sympathetic face.
On top of everything, I can't believe this is ACTUALLY happening to me. Why me?
"Listen Aubrey I can..."
"I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT JUST GET THE HELL OUT OF MY APARTMENT...NOW!" I spat out
The blonde girl, with her cheeks flaring red instantly began to put on her clothes. She was practically shaking while she was.
"Aubrey please" he begged
"GET OUT IM NOT GOING TO SAY IT AGAIN" I said bluntly, while the burning tears were flying down my face.
And with out further or do he put on his things and he and the girl rushed out.
I collapsed onto the ground. I balled my eyes out onto the carpet.
He was lying to me the whole time
How could I had been so stupid.
I had no one to go to or call, I was all alone.
Come on Aubrey pull yourself together
My inner self had said.
I stood up and sat on the bed.
EWWWW.
I immediately got up.
I've definitely got to get out of this house.
I had no clue where to go but I grabbed my keys, and gazed at my coat rack & left. - - -
I parked into the empty lot & walked up to my destination; The Diner.
Pathetic, I know. Well I didn't really know my way around so I didn't know where any bars were, but they sold drinks so it's all good.
I approached the seats and sat down. There were a few other customers here also.

"Oh hey Aubrey, what would you like?". One of my coworkers asked
"margarita please" I managed to get out.
"Whoa, starting off strong aren't you?" She replied.
"Yeah, it's been a long day" I sighed in despair
"Huh, It sure has". A guy next to me replied. He looked familiar, I think it was the guy who I bumped into before. He still had that stressed & sad look on his face. And I've got to admit he still managed to actually look hot.
"One margarita coming up, any thing else?"she asked
"No, that would be all" I replied
"Okay, be right back"
I nodded. I gazed over at that guy again & he really didn't look so well, I should really ask if he's okay.
"Uh, *clears throat* excuse me you alright?" I questioned
"Funny you asked, he sighed, I'm not actually"
"I'm heart broken you know?" he replied, while his head hung low as if I didn't
"Actually I do" I said." Not a too long ago I walked in on my boyfriend cheating on me" I said as I felt pungent pain in my chest.
"You don't say?"
"I figured out that my girlfriend cheated on me today too." He responded as he lifted his head
My drink had arrived & I instantly took a swig of it.
"Guess that makes two of us" I joked as I rose my drink up
We laughed
"Who would cheat on a gorgeous girl like you, man they would physically have to be blind" he said, very nonchalantly.
I instantly blushed at this compliment
"And who would cheat on fine guy like yourself?" I winked We both laughed again.
