It was a sunny day at the local Cincinnati zoo. A mom and her four year old child decided to go to the zoo, but it would lead to a tragic lose. While they were walking past the gorilla exhibit, the child crawled into the exhibit.
The gorilla, Harambe, saw the child in distress and tried to save him. He dragged him through the water. The zoo keeper took the gun, took aim, and fired. All everyone could here was a huge blast. He killed the 17 year old gorilla.
When Harambe was shot dead he was near a waterfall and the kid drowned. It was a tragic day on May 28, 2016.
The type of gorilla Harambe was, Western Lowland Gorilla, are critically endangered. Everyone and their mothers think the zookeeper should have tranquilize Harambe but he did a bad decision, went with his gut.
Harambe died for our sins. He deserves much more than what he got. All he was doing was watching that womens kid better than she was. Harambe is a inspiration to us all.
