The next few days passed, people constantly coming up to Sylver and talking to her(All of a sudden, the mean people wanted to be her friend). Soon, it was time to depart. She said a few sad goodbyes and cleared out her locker and her room. It was rather upsetting to leave the small city behind, but she wasn't allowed to withdraw from the 'job' even if she had wanted to(which she didn't). She was bringing her three friends, her older brother, and her mom and dad. She didn't need anyone else.

Sylver and her parents picked up her friends in a van and began the one-and-a-half hour drive.

"Hey Sylver, what are you going to do when you aren't helping the government and learning calculus?" Mackenzie said.

"Honestly? I'm gonna watch YouTube, anime, and write ZoSan fanfiction."

"What's that?"

"Two of my favorite characters from one of my favorite anime!"

"Do you have a pen?" Sandra asked.

"Why?" Harper said.

"Because."

"Here," Sylver handed her a pen. "Just be sure to give it back."

"Kay"

Sylver was looking through the profiles and names of the other Gifted members.

Sylver's Perspective

We arrived at the airport an hour and a half before the plane was scheduled to leave. Sandra took the pen out of her pocket and labeled her bag, then handing the pen back to me.

"Aren't you part of Gifted too?" A male's voice asked. I turned around and was faced with Tyler and Tiffy. They were from White Pine Middle School, only two states over. It was an average public school that usually sent one or two students every time.

"Yeah," I said.

"You're Sylver Coyne right? The one with an almost perfect score?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah," I replied. Okay now, don't do anything stupid.

"Cool," Tiffy said. "Nice job."

"Thanks."

"What plane are you taking?"

"X01, I think. What about you?"

"X03."

"Aw, that sucks." The alarm on my mom's phone buzzed. "Shoot. I have to go. See you in a week!"

"Bye!" They called back.

"Alright, do we have everybody?" Sylver's mom asked over the commotion of the airport. She then proceeded to count them off, making sure to double check. Sylver and her friends bought a bunch of snacks and headed to the waiting area for flight 'X01'. When they got to the entrance of the waiting room, they were greeted by guards.
