He came in silently. If I wasn't watching the door I wouldn't have known he was there. I stared at him as he stood silently by the door. After a minute I turned to look out the window. Tired of looking at the stranger I only met an hour before. A minute of silence passed before he spoke. "Would you like a glass of water Ms. Eden?" he asked.
"Would you not called me that." I replied "Please."
"As you wish, Miss."
"Or Miss. You dont have to be so professional." I said not looking away from the window.
"Thats part of my job, Miss."
"Just call me Lilly, detective." I said already growing tired of the conversation. I wanted him gone. I wanted to leave this place behind me and never come back.
"Miss, do you know why you are here today?"
"No. I would like to know why though. Or are you going to keep me guessing?"
"Did you know Kevin Young?"
"Yes. Why?" I said, finally looking away from the window.
"Was your relationship with Kevin.....um.....how do I put this? Well lets start with this. What was your relationship with Mr. Young?"
"We were really good friends."
"Was that all you where?"
"Yes. What us all this about?" Why are they asking all these questions?
"Even so Ms. Eden. If you were friends why did you kill him?"
