20 years later ...

" Thailia your dress is ready. "  I put my book down and got up from my window seal.

" It's beautiful Zoey!" The dress was truly beautiful : Silver lacing, lycic blue base, with a snow drop lining. Moon jumped of of my shoulder and went to her food bowl, I ran after her to see if she had seen a mouse or a bird. " Tahilia your corset!" Zoella called me over." Coming Zoey."  Moon , my pet  Kneazle*, jumped on my shoulder as I walked over to zoella.

" Easy Zoey , I can only me so fit!"

" My apologies Princess."

" The Royal group is leaving in 2 hours."

Moon walked over and purred as I genitally stroked  her. I looked out my window at the clouds as the world stopped. Far above the castle was the sky realm , where the ball was to be hosted. I walked out of my room and out into the stables. " Is My griffen* ready, Alahi ?"

" Yes My princess."

" Are you and Zoella going to the ball together ?" His checks turned red as I asked . I chucked as mother walked by the entrance. "Mother, Mother."

" Oh Thailia you look marvelous!"

" Thank you, you look stunning also. "

" We are leaving soon Dear."

" yes mother still has to get my hair put up." I went upstairs to my dressers room. " Thailia Sit , sit."

my hair dresser braided my hair and curled a couple pieces. She pinned it up at the top of my head. " Thank you."

" Any time princess. "

 I walked into the side yard where the Royal party was waiting : Father , Mother ,Tahna, Zoella , The Governor and Me.Tahna looked over at me " You look so beautiful Thailia , how much make up did it take to cover your ugly?"

" Tahna its bad for your health to talk about your self."

" Oh, I mean You look beautiful today Thailia."

"Way to make a come back Tahna ." Zoella laughed. As we traveled Zoella and I raced, " Cheater Thailia!"

" Just because you cant keep up doesn't mean you have to lie."

" Hey Thailia , will you dance with me ?" Thana , even thought mean , is practically in love with me, but my kingdom comes first.

" Its not a no."

As we landed my nervous came in, there were about two-thousand people from Cladia and Morlon.

" Mother , What do I do?"

" Be your self, and go meet people."

As the stable man took my Griffen My confidence grew , the words of Mother echoed in my head. Night was setting in as the sounds of the ball room grew. I walked in first , My confidence was replaced as the room grew silent , everyone staring as I walked past. The domed shaped room rose to the top, a golden trim along the walls , followed by a mural of angels.The attention turned to Father as he escorted Mother , The silence turned into an applause , followed by the Governor and Zoella. Alahi Came out of the crowd to welcome Zoella, the party began.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a boy , he was walking into an almost hidden door way. I ran , calmly, after him. Past the crowds of people , into the hall way he was following down. He looked back every once and a while , I would stop to look back to see if Zoella or Tahna followed me , nothing. " Hey wait up!"I yelled as the boy went to a balcony. I ran outside to where he was standing. He was a courtly , tall man, about my age. His eyes were the color of emerald with a flame colored hint.

" who.. who are you?"

" I could be asking you the same thing."  The room fell silent as I looked up to the sky to see the moon , along with hundreds of stars forming heroes from legions so many life times ago.

" How did you find this place?" I asked.

" Same as you."

" No I found you , and you found this .. this .."

" Secretive balcony." I blushed , it was as if this boy knew me , was like me. Like I have known him forever.

" Why haven't I seen you before." As my words faded I knew who he was. He was the prince of Morlon.He bowed as he grabbed my hand " Princess Thailia of Cladia It is an honor."

" Prince Phyon of Morlon , the honor is mine." He kissed my hand and stood back up. I could not believe a Morlon could be so Gentle , Congeal and Peaceful. He was a Prince, that was why , why we Knew each other , He got me. He knows what it is like to live in the shadows of the King and Queen. What it is like to never take matters into your own hands , to never meet people , only those who lived in the castle. Going to ball after ball, always the same routine everyday ( or for most people).

" I must say Princess I didn't think a Cladian could be so Beautiful." I blushed as his eyes meet mine.

" And never knew a Morlon could be so charming."We laughed as i walked over to the edge of the balcony, I rested my head on my hands as I looked below me. Phyon  walked over beside me as I day dreamed. He wasn't looking at the world below , he was staring at me , smiling.

"why ?"said out loud , Blushing at knowing that I didn't mean to say it.

" Why what ? What's wrong." I tried to swallow my words before I started anything, but it was too late.

" We can't see each other." My  attention went to his eyes.

" What do you mean."

" Don't you see I'm the Princess of Cladia and your the Prince of Morlon."

" Don't tell me you don't feel it."

" Feel what?"

" The spark. Thailia can't you see , look around , some how you manged to catch me out of the corner of your eye out of all of those people, follow me alone to her. Can't you see Thailia It was made to be , we could be the new future for both of our countries."

By this time I was shocked. My confidence was surrounded by weakness as my mind was clouded. I shook the thoughts out of my head and focused.

" Prince Phyon I'm honored but.."

I lost my words as his eyes meet mine. He grabbed my hands , my heart melted. As he leaned in to kiss me he whispered " I have to see you again ." His lips meet mine as we kissed.

" Thailia !" Zoella was standing in the door way , I ran to her as she was standing there shocked. " Zoey please , I can explain."

" Explain what ! You are putting your kingdom , your life in danger. "

" Zoey please trust me."

" Thailia , as my princess i must trust you."

"Really , oh Zoey thank you."I hugged her as she patted me on the back. We walked over beside Phyon.

" Prince Phyon."

" Lady Zoella." I ran in between them as they looked angry at one another.

" So prince Phyon what is your plan?"" Plan? Thailia you trust him?" Zoella was shocked.                                                                                      

" Zoella please." I looked at her as she glanced over at Phyon.

"The princess and I are names for the thorn." As he looked at me .

" I believe we can start a new era Zoey."I couldn't believe I said that as I saw the look on Zoella's face.

"Thailia It's time to live."As zoey tugged on my dress.

"Princess Thailia when will i see You again?"

" Two nights from tonight, I the woods that border the wall and your territory , there is an opening."

" I will see you then Princess."

As his voice faded I looked at Zoella and realized what I had done "Zoey , I'm in love with a Morlon."
