One year (Usagi X Misaki)

The Start of the Mess

It was a regular day for both Usagi and Misaki . Misaki was studying in class while Usagi was writing his new prompt for his story, waiting impatiently to have his sweet little Misaki all to himself. This seemed like any other day for the odd couple until Usagi received a phone call. Usagi picked up the phone, only to notice that it was his father, Fuyuhiko Usami. Usagi's mood instantaneously changed.  He answered the phone with a monotone  voice.
"Hello?" He uttered, wating for his father's response. Usagi hadn't really been listening to what his father was saying until he heard the name of his dear Misaki.
"Since you love that boy so much, I propose a deal." Fuyuhiko said taunting Usagi.
"What kind of deal?" He was suspicious of what kind of maniacal plan his father was conjuring. 
"If you are able to live without Misaki for one year, I will allow you to be together with him without my interference in the relationship." Usagi hesitated at the thought of being without Misaki, someone that he truly loved and wanted to keep close to him, but then he began to speak.
"I accept your deal."
"Oh, and you mustn't notify him about this," Fuyuhiko quickly said before hanging up. Usagi slowly set his phone down next to him and began to ponder about what would happen to both Misaki and himself.

Misaki was walking out of the school when he saw a familiar red sports car pull up in front of him. He opened the door and greeted Usagi with a smile.
"Usagi-san, how was your day? What do you want me to cook for dinner? " Usagi stared at the road and didn't answer Misaki's question. He was too occupied with the thoughts that were racing around in his mind. The brunette shrugged it off and just thought that he had barely woken up from one of his afternoon naps.
