Chapter 1

Lauren opened her eyes and automatically closed them again as the sun rushed to ruin her morning. "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT DINAH!" she grumbled and she stumbled out of bed and closed the curtains to the hotel room window.

"Well good morning to you too mrs.grumpy. Drink too much last night did we?" Dinah said announcing her presence and startling Lauren. "JESUS DINAH! Look if this is payback for last week I'm sorry I'll never ever do it again." Lauren said as she instantly regretted messing with Dinah after her birthday last week. "Oh no sweetheart that's to come later" Dinah said smugly, "im glad you're up though because Lucy is outside waiting to surprise you and has been waiting for two hours so act surprised and love your girlfriend please." And just like that Lauren's headache instantaneously disappeared.

It had been two months since Lauren last saw Lucy and she was in desperate need of some girlfriend time. Lauren and Lucy have been dating for four years and were a secret for three, of course not to family and close friends, but to the fans. They did not expect the support they were getting from their fans, with the crazy Camren shippers and verucy shippers they were bound to sink harder than the titanic. However after Camilas departure from the band, everything seemed to fall into place for Lauren. She was happier, she was more calm, and Damn was she in love.

Lauren ran to the door almost forgetting that Lucy's arrival was supposed to be a surprise and Dinah just caught her by the back of her faded Pink Floyd tee shirt. "LAUSER what THE HELL do you think your doing! Don't ruin this for her! Go sit in bed and look pitiful, when she knocks I'll let her in."

Lauren put on her best pout and tucked herself back into the hotel bed as she watched Dinah send her girlfriend the confirmation text. She could hardly contain her excitement, she felt like a 5 year old kid on Christmas morning. When there was a knock on the door her heart jumped out of her chest. She heard Dinah say loudly "IM COMING" as she tried to slow her heart rate. As soon as the door opened she leapt out of bed and into her girlfriends arms.

"I can't believe you're here I missed you so fucking much." Lauren said as she clutched onto Lucy's shirt like if she were to let go Lucy would disappear completely. "Surprise baby happy almost birthday." Lucy said as she pulled back just enough to kiss Lauren lightly on her lips. Lauren tucked her face back into Lucy's neck and Lucy pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.

They stood there for what felt like hours before Dinah being who she is stood up, "as much as I'd like to watch this for the next hour I'm hungry. I'm going to go downstairs Ally says they have waffles and my girlfriend is probably eating them all. Are you all coming or are you just gonna eat eachother?" Dinah said almost too seriously. Lauren laughed and let go of Lucy just long enough to put her shoes on and grab back onto her.

They walked down the hall hand in hand behind Dinah who was loudly belting out a song about waffles as they entered the dining hall. Ally and normani quickly stood up to rush over to Lucy and give her a hug, Lauren reluctantly let go of her hand to allow her to reciprocate. "Lucy! How was your flight not too long I hope?" Ally said with a big smile as Dinah came and wrapped her arms around normani and rested her chin on the top of her head. "Not bad at all actually it was too slow but only because I was excited to see laur. Plus the idiot decided to sleep till ten and make me wait out in the hall with the creepy doorman asking me about my relationship status." Lucy said wrapping her arm around laurens waist and pulling her closer to her. "Hey it's not my fault I didn't know you were coming!" Lauren said defensively. "Oh please," Lucy started, "you and I both know damn well Dinah can keep a secret, no offense Dinah." She said looking sympathetically at Dinah who just flicked her off and went to go make waffles dragging normani behind her.
"Okay so I knew sue me for wanting to sleep for the first time in months I just didn't know how late in the afternoon it was getting, I'm sorry." Lauren pouted and looked up at Lucy. Ally took this as her cue to go sit back down at the table. "It's okay baby I'm really not upset." Lucy mumbled as she leaned down and kissed Lauren lingering just long enough for Lauren to try and keep her there. Lucy pulled away and grabbed Laurens hand leading her to the food.

Lauren never thought she could have been happier, until she heard a familiar laugh coming down the hall. "Shit," she said "she just had to choose this hotel." She said as the other girls joined her and stared at Camila.
