Emily and her friends all sat eating their lunch near the art room as they usually did. They normally just talked about what happened in class or what they were doing on the weekend, but today Emily's best friend had some news.
"So guys I have to tell you all something" Laura said smiling and all the girls sat there waiting for her news, "I like a boy" she said then giggled a bit.
"Oh my gosh Laura who!" Emily exclaimed and all the girl squealed with excitement waiting for Laura to say who the guy was. Laura looked around to make sure no one was near them and she whispered "Chris Lanzon". All the girl were a bit shocked by this as Laura didn't really go for guys but when she did they were always the quiet and shy sort of guys. But Chris.. he was a popular boy. One of the boys that wouldn't even take a second look at Laura. "Aw how cute" Brittany exclaimed with excitement and tif squealed a little more.
Emily is in all of chris' classes so she had spoken to him a few times but not a lot.
"Oh my gosh guys act cool he is walking past" Laura said blushing a light pink colour, Chris looked over and Emily waved and smiled and he done the same in return and all the girls looked at her in shock.
"What! Wait wait wait, what! You and Chris talk?!" Laura said looking at me, "well I am in all his classes so yeah we have spoken a few times" Emily says looking at her.
"Woah you're so lucky" Laura says still blushing, "no not really" Emily says rolling her eyes.
Emily noticed for the next week Laura had been acting weird, all of a sudden wearing makeup to school and doing her hair all nice, she would bring her lipgloss to school and her little compact mirror to check herself every 5 minutes. Emily tried to make it not bother her but it did. A boy, a popular gross boy was changing her best friend. And Emily did not like that very much.
