"Attention all inmates: Return to your cells immediately. I repeat: return to your cells immediately."The sound of sirens, shouting and the alarm firing away filled his hearing. David Stilinski watched as his fellow inmates were shoved back into the prison door to be led back to their cells. He moved his gaze from the horde of brutal men to his accomplice across the field. After giving a curt nod to the blonde, David watched as the 18-year-old raised his fists and punched a random stranger square in the jaw. As per their nature, the surrounding men began fighting with one another in an all-out war for blood. The prisoners were but savage animals locked up in the cage, it was common sense that all hell would break loose once they were given even the tiniest shred of freedom. David quickly maneuvered through the wild beasts and grabbed the youth by the back of his neck, Forcing their way through. The two finally escaped to an empty corridor where they hid in the shadows. Not ten minutes later the regular guard made his daily patrol.
This was their chance. David jumped out of his hiding place and knocked the man unconscious with one hit to the head. He took the keys and tossed it to the boy who effortlessly caught it. Next, he removed the gun from the guard's possession and broke the radio so the do-gooder wouldn't be able to call for backup. Not needing another reason for the law to hunt him down, he left the unconscious man alive. The plan was working. That is until chance reared its ugly head and three more guards rounded the corner. As soon as they saw the scene before them they immediately raised their guns and bellowed for the inmates not to move and to drop their weapons.
The two prisoners did as they were told and followed every instruction the guards gave them. When one of the patrolmen was down, David saw an opening and immediately took it. He elbowed the offending guard that held his hands in place causing the man to fall to the ground. Once he picked up the fallen gun he shot the guard in front of him twice in the head. The youth began fighting against his own offending guard so David switched his attention to the last guard, shooting him twice in the head as well. The remaining guard pulled out his gun and aimed it straight at the head of the younger inmate. Slowly, the criminal made his way behind the officer and placed the muzzle of his gun against the base of the man's neck.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you" he tauntingly whispered in the man's ear.
"This is so awesome partner," rejoiced the boy, picking up a gun of his own and aiming it at the terrifies guard.
"Pull the trigger on my mark," the older man ordered.
The boy gave a confused expression but none the less nodded. David moved his free arm around the guard so that he was also holding the trigger of the guards gun.
"Partner, what are you doing?" the blonde youth asked, fear laced in his voice.
"On my mark, remember?" he repeated in a more reassuring tone and waited for the slight nod of the boy.
With that, he shot the blonde twice in the leg and once in his diaphragm.
"Mark," he shouted and the boy fired at the guard before falling to the cold floor.
David let the, now dead, man fall shortly after his little helper began to bleed out. One thing that he admired about this boy was that he was loyal to the end. He took the keys out of the youths clenched fists as he contemplated about the many possibilities this child once had before making a deal with such a sick man like himself. David wiped the blood from his face and hands on the shirt of his inferior. He placed a leg on the boy's neck and applied pressure until he heard the distinct 'crack' from the neck. He stomped on and over the corpses until he finally reached and exited the end of the corridors.
Not twenty-four hours later, he was cold, beaten, covered in snow and exhausted. Yes, he had eventually escaped but not before he was manhandled and shot in the leg. Although he very much wanted to stop this eternal game of cat and mouse, he wasn't about to roll over and die for the police to find him. He created a false trail for them to follow, it leading them somewhere near the states. David had stalled for enough time to make a swift entry and exit for his master plan. It was a simple yet tricky scheme but to David, it was worth more than his very own life. If he accomplished this, all the titles, all the crowns and all the power in the world would have to bow their heads in shame.
