A long, long time ago there lived a little boy called Alice. His mother, the Queen, always wanted a girl. Alice was put through strict training to act like a girl. His father had died when he was small. The Queen always took extra care raising Alice, until one day she just snapped. She started abusing Alice, blaming everything on him. She had locked herself in her room, the only thing that could be heard was her delirious screams. Until one day, they just died, silence ran through the castle. Alice could take this no more and decided to visit the place he never wanted to visit again - Wonderland.

I grabbed my usual clothes, the clothes I would wear as a guy. A tattered blood red T-shirt with a white design and jet black jeans. I strapped on a sword with it's scabbard behind my back and grabbed some bread, dried dates and figs and some meat into my bag. I wore my cap on my head and jumped out the window, gracefully landing on my feet. I walked past all the flowers in the garden until I reached the top of the hill. I slowly stretched myself onto the grass, stomach first. I snoozed a bit as I waited for the worried chanting of the White Rabbit.

Even though he's called the White Rabbit, he's more like a human wearing a snow white suit and a black shirt with bunny ears. His eyes are also red like a bunny's and he's a vegetarian. I thought about every other guy I met in Wonderland when I was twelve. Six years had passed since then meaning I'm eighteen now. I wonder if any of them had changed. I snapped away from my thoughts as I hear a faint 'I'm late!' I grinned and shot up, chasing after the voice only to be led to a rabbit hole. I took a deep breath and jumped inside, the tunnel never ending then suddenly expanding. I braced myself for the landing but there was no need. There was a bouncy mattress to soften my fall.

I glanced at the table with a potion saying 'drink me!' I grimaced at the sight of it. I am never going through that experience again. I'll just go through the secret entrance Cheshire Cat showed me, last time. I hope it still works. I went up to the left side of the wall, trying to find the corner of the disguise. I found it and peeled it off, revealing a very old and hardly used door. I twisted the knob and pushed the door open.

I gasped in horror as I saw what happened to - what used to be - Wonderland. Walls of fire surrounded the forest, dragons were soaring through the sky and screams of terror could be heard. I quickly dropped to the ground and ran to find my friends, only to be given a heart attack when Cheshire stopped me. I slowed down my heart before glaring at him.

"Next time give me more warning you dick."

"Haha. As much as I'd like to reminisce old times with you, we've got a bigger problem."

"I noticed. What's up with this? Is it the Queen of Hearts or-"

"No, it's neither of them. This is someone we don't know. White and I have been gathering information around. We even asked the Queens' servants if it was them. Even they're trying to hold off the enemy."

I nodded while listening to this. Who else can attack Wonderland anyway? Initially I thought the Queens were at it again but it seems like something bigger. Cheshire gestured for me to follow him so I did. He led me up to a waterfall, he shouted that they've made a hiding spot behind the waterfall. I noticed it was almost impossible to go under without something blocking the water overhead. I sighed and chanted the spell under my breath, shields surrounded Cheshire and I and we made our way under the waterfall.

Once we got safely accross I called off the magic, otherwise known as MAGIEN, and I breathed out the breath I'd been holding for the last ten seconds. Cheshire laughed and said my skills were getting rusty, so I lightly punched him in the arm. Everyone in Wonderland are either giants or short. I was just 5'5" while Cheshire, White and Mad were somewhere around 6'3" to 6'5". My mood darkened when I saw how many had been injured. The cave was pretty big, and we had a fresh water supply. I noticed many children were hungry so I gave them the food I took from home. They all thanked me and rushed off after they got the food.

Cheshire impatiently tapped his foot waiting for me to finish so I gave him a sheepish smile. I quietly followed him into another room which was empty. He sat down and motioned for me to do the same. I grabbed the very familiar looking chair and sat on it.

"White should be back soon. Until then I'll give you a quick run down on our roles. The people who can fight, like Mad, you and I, are to hunt for food for everyone to eat. We don't have to worry about water so that's good. If we ever need to fight off the enemy we have to use our MAGIEN abilities and support each other. White and the twins gather intellect that will help us, like what they're doing now. I'm honestly grateful that you're here."

I smile at him. I can't tell him the real reason I'm here. Anyway, I'm prepared to do anything that will benefit our situation. Wonderland isn't even Wonderland anymore. There's really only one thing we can call it right now.

A kingdom of war.

"Oh my precious crystal, show me how chaos is descending. Oh my, Alice is here? It'll be fun to torture him again, won't it? Ah, everything is keeps getting better and better! Let's see how you will deal with this Alice dear."

The voice cackles an evil laugh before they throw the knife into an animal, turning it into one grey, sloppy mess.
