Dad, Connor, Ann and I arrived back from Manchester on the Thursday evening feeling extremely exhausted. It had been a busy couple of days trying to do everything possible before I left. We’d visited so many different places and the twins had even taken me to see some local band perform in the pub down the road which we ended up leaving at about 2am. We walked in the front door and collapsed on the sofas but the silence was soon interrupted by Connors phone going off.
“Hey Elle, we’ve got to go out and pick up some stuff for tomorrow, we’ll be back in about 2 hours.” Dad said, pulling Ann out the door, I heard the car drive off and I was left alone again but not for long.
“Brad wants to know if we can go to his for a bit, I said I’d go but you look shattered so it’s up to you whether you come or not?” Connor told me holding his phone in his hand.
“You’re right, I’m just going to stay here, and I don’t think I have enough energy to go anywhere, I’ll probably just watch a film or something.” I said. Soon after Connor was gone and I’d put on The Hunger Games to watch while I waited for sleep to consume me.
I heard a knock at the door and groaned wondering who would be here seeing as I hadn’t invited anyone over. Getting up and opening the door in a zombie like form I opened the door to see Tristan in exactly the same state as me and a little girl standing next to him clutching his hand.
"Who's that?" She asked Tristan pointing at me after I invited them in.
"That's Elle, she's Connors sister" he said in a baby voice making me laugh.
"But she's really pretty and Connor isn't" she said with a little pout. Tristan and I both burst out laughing and I went to sit with them both.
"What's wrong with Connor?" I asked.
"He stole my chips and now I don't like him" She shrugged crossing her arms. I was about to laugh when Tristan put his hand over my mouth and shook his head furiously.
“I don’t mean to sound rude but why are you here?” I asked.
“Well, I have to babysit and I’m shattered so I thought I’d join you as Connor said you were practically asleep. “This is Lucy by the way, she’s my cousin.”
“Alright then, but I’m just going to warn you, I’ll be asleep in about 5 minutes.” I laughed going to sit back down on the sofa.
"What do you want to do today then Lucy?" Tristan asked enthusiastically.
"Talk to Vampires" she squealed. I shot Tristan a confused look.
"She wants to do a twitcam with the fans" he translated for me and I nodded in agreement.
"Lucy, why don't we get into our pyjamas like Elle and have a little Vampire party?" Tristan suggested grinning at her. She nodded her little head quickly and they jumped up leaving me to set everything up.
I picked up Tristan’s phone and tweeted from his account, informing the fans of the pyjama party twitcam we were having. I set up my laptop on the table in front of us and sat back on the sofa waiting for the other two to join me.
They bounded downstairs and Lucy came to sit next to me and she was soon picked up by Tristan and placed on his lap. Tristan was wearing one of Connors old t-shirts and his boxers, whilst Lucy sat in her Disney princess pyjamas.
