His eyes were the brightest.

His smile brought me joy.

His hands were braced around my neck.

Around my neck, when he tried cry for his life,

But was too brave to show his hurt and pain.

He was mine from the start, mine and mine alone,

But I lost him in the blink of an eye !

His eyes shone, darkly glazed into nothingness.

He was gone, my angel was gone !

All that was left was his lifeless body resting in my arms, 

His head on my bosom.

His last breathe a puff of teary smoke.

My baby, my baby boy was gone. 

I was brought back from my trauma with the sounds of the nurse, 

Rushing and ripping the lifeless body of my new born from my arms.

I saw nothing as I shed the tears I was holding back,

Tears of many to come, for my lost baby ...............................
