"Deon wake your long slinky butt up and get your feet off my table."
"Donna, why are you so bitter all the time? I know you grew up rough and you were always told you weren't good enough. But baby it's time to let that go. You are beautiful. Look at you, you have hazel eyes with a slight hint of green. And the way you make this cute lil' sound and run your fingers through your long curly hair when your nervous."
"Okay! Stop trying to butter me up. You always complain how I nag and getting fat. I mean I only get on you when you're wrong. And we know I'm not fat. Sure I picked up a few pounds after I had our daughter, but come on I'm only 165."
"I only say those things when I want to get under your skin baby. Facts are your what about 5'7 and thick as a milkshake. Which I actually love by the way."
"Yeah ok! Enough your charmish ways are not going to keep smoothing me over. Face it since your mom and pops passed you haven't been the same."
"See this type of stuff is what I'm referring to. You are cruel Donna. Just because you grew up in a rich home where both parents were quote unquote happily married."
"Now keep my parents out of this! We all know that your dad ran around on your mom and technically caused her death, so let's not go there."
"See always going to dang far! You lucky I don't want to go to jail or I'd knock you clean out."
"Hmmm I like to see you try. Beat me like your mom used to do your dad."
"You know what, No! We're going to talk this out. Every since I made that one mistake and cheated you have been moody. You used to be a sweet loving caring person. Now it seems like the only thing you do is nag. If you weren't such a wonderful mother to our child I would have been left."
"No don't do me any favors. Here's the door use it. And don't think those chest nut eyes, well mannered body is going to draw me back in. Nobody cares that you are tall dark and handsome. It won't work this time. Get out!"
"Fine I will! Soon as you hear me out woman. Yes I have been having a hard time coping with my parents death. If you were more concerned about my well being than wondering if I'm worried about a woman. You would see that I have developed a drinking habit."
"What do you mean Deon? Why do you think I call so much to check on you and beg you to come home. I did recognize it, I'm not that naive. And if you are really having a bad time coping. Why not hang out with your brother sometime, instead of dealing with those no good friends?"
"So why do we argue so much if we know how we really feel. We love eachother Donna let it be and stop denying it. Plus you know you miss play in my dreads, rubbing on these packs, and having me pick you up in these buff arms."
"Of course I do. You are fine with your perfect white teeth and beautiful smile. And man the fact that your 6'5 about 270 pounds of muscle is a plus."
"So bring your lil sexy self here girl."
"I want to spend time getting back to the good times. Do you remember you used to love that movie Spartan? I hated it, but now I find myself watching it."
"Well payback from you making me watch your favorite Maid in Manhattan. I mean how can someone love a movie so goofy. The only reason I didn't complain because you always made my favorite, lasagna that night."
"Well yeah because lasagna's my favorite too. You always had a way of making me laugh with your sarcastic remarks about J-Lo. That was always one of your biggest strengths holding on to your sense of humor even when facing the worse times."
"Well I always admired how you could put your problems aside and put others first. Well until you had that great book you used to try to let tell you how to do this and that. You were attached to it and you didn't care what was going on you werent giving it up. What was it called?"
"Umm... How to Keep Your Man?"
"Yeah that was it. You were so wrapped up in trying to keep me you didn't realize you had me. That was hard to tolerate."
"Well let's agree to sort of start over. Maybe even date. You know dinner and a movie sometime. We do have to get along for our daughter sake."
"You're right. And I would love that as long as I get to pick the movie. We don't want another Maid in Manhattan."
"Ha ha ha! Very funny, but ok."
