procrastinated dreams

she hangs the stars on her dress

and kisses the moon with a raindrop in her eye

and she sits down on the shallow ground

then she will open the cards that carry dreams

but for now she decides to sit

that is why I don't swim

for fear overtakes me that those cards might get wet

now not a raindrop, but downpour rolls off her cheeks

and creates tear streaks that may never leave

but why does she weave clouds and hang stars?

because she is afraid they'll see her cry

and fear will overtake her

as faith flows from her melody

not today she will continue

not today she will continue

and not tomorrow will she continue with procrastinated dreams
