The Man

Chapter 1

One day I was walking through the woods and there was a tall man standing  two miles away from me. I just stand there and watch him. He was looking right at me. He started to walk towards me. I started to run towards my house. He was following me. I made it into the house. Locked the doors and ran to the window. When I looked outside he was gone. I went to bed that night knowing that there was someone watching me. I woke up and went outside to play and wait till my friend gets here. Good thing my friend is coming to my house. I will be safe with her. While I was outside, I saw the same man from yesterday standing there and watching me. I ran into my house quickly. I look outside to see if he was still standing there. He wasn't there. I waited till my friend got to my house. When she got to my house i took her bags upstairs to my room then made some lunch. I told her about the man that kept watching. "I'll go outside and pretend I'm by myself and see if the man shows up." she suggested. "okay be careful." is said. 

My friend is now living with me because her parents had to move to a different state because of their jobs. She didn't want to leave her hometown and friends so she is staying with me for now.  She went outside and I watched her through my window. I stayed hidden so the man wouldn't see me. She looked around to see if she could see the guy. All of a sudden she saw him standing in the same spot that I saw him. She ran quickly in to the house and we locked the door. We looked outside to see if he was there but he wasn't.  We decided to stay inside for the rest of the weekend. 

On Monday we went to school  and found that the teacher went missing. They say a guy kidnapped her and is now trying to kill two little girls in her class. Me and Lily looked at each other and then started to scream. Our class ask us what is wrong. We said "That man that kidnapped the teacher is trying to kill us." They all had fear in their eyes. Then all of sudden a gun went off and me and lily fell to the ground. The man that was watching us stood in the doorway. He had shot a boy in our class. The ambulance was called and you could hear the sirens. Once the man had heard them he ran as fast as he could. I wanted to run after him but my body said no and to stay and help the boy. The ambulance arrived and took the boy away. Me and Lily were interviewed by the police. They asked us a couple of questions about the man. We answered as much as we could

Later that night we heard a knock on the door. It was our teacher that was kidnapped. She told us everything that happened and described his personality. She didn't catch his name though. She said she was scared and nervous for what is gonna come next. We told her what happened to us. We all decided to stay together. Mrs. Brown is gonna stay with me and Lily for now on. My parents are gonna be gone for a while because their jobs move all over the place. My parents and Lily's parents trusts us together by ourselves not knowing what was going to happen. Thank goodness for Mrs. Brown who is now living with us and is gonna be taking care of us.
