Chapter one:

Screams. All I heard was screams. All I saw was death. Something awful was coming, I just didn't know when. My body jerked up at the sound of my alarm, I was awake, and late for school. I scrambled to get my clothes on, skinny jeans, a T-shirt and combat boots.

"Sarah!! Come down here right now, Your late!!!!"

That's my mom, Jessica Anderson.

"SARAH GRACE ANDERSON RIGHT NOW!!!"

"Okay mom I'm coming!" I sighed. I don't like being told what to do, especially from my mom. I ran down the stairs practically tripping over my own two legs and ran out the door.

"Shit" I said out of breath "I missed my bus.." Now I had to face my mom.

"Mom?"

"Sarah, you are supposed to be on the bus right now. I don't know how many times do I have to tell you to-" I cut her off right there

"That's actually kind of what I wanted to talk to you about..."

"Sarah, honey, I expect more of you , an independent eighteen year old girl."

"I know mom, can you please just drive me, my car is still in the workshop" I blurted out annoyed.

"Yes, get in the car."

••••••••

Me and my mom had the same features, olive skin, blue-green eyes, long wavy dark brown hair, and we were thin and long.

SCREECH!!!

The car came to a stop and we were there, Brenningham High School.

"Honey we're here. Now hurry up you're already late."

"Bye mom. See you later!!" I kissed her good bye and hugged her.

Little did I know it was going to be the last time I ever saw her precious face.
