The Letters Change

haruka's POV

"Today is the first day of highschool. Today I moved to Neapow , a secret city that no one knows about except some certain people. All my relatives died but my mom. They were all doctors and they died in a huge war that is so secretive that everyone that knows about it won't tell me about it. I was walking down a road-"

author's POV

-pause- "ok haha I almost forgot to tell you that the main character in this story is Haruka but she just calls herself Haru. She is very shy, so she always wears a black cloak. Today is the day her life slowly gets altered." -unpaused-

Haruka's POV

I was walking down the road and I got to my school. On the sign it wrote "Neapow Highschool".I walked into class and everything seemed normal, not that I care.

sensai's POV

I looked around the classroom. "Hmm this is a good amount of students, but I don't know about the girl in the black cloak... oh well ill just have to find out." I thought. Ok students please sit down! Today we have a transfer student and please treat him well!

Transfer's POV

As I enter the room I see lots of students looking at me and I see them too but I stop my gaze at a girl who's not in school uniform. "Hello, my name is Kakaze and I transfered to Neapow from England.". I find a seat next the the strange girl and wait till class is over. I go up to her and say," Hey you what's your name?"

Haruka's POV

I was just sitting down and staring outside the window and then the teacher started to announce that there was going to be a transfer student but I didn't really care. I was staring out the window until the period ended and then the boy came up to me, I guessed it was the transfer because I haven't seen him in class before. He asked me what my name was but I ignored him because I didn't want to be friends with anyone. I didn't want to be in a relationship with anyone because it would cause them trouble especially because of my mysterious powers that this world doesn't understand.I kept ignoring the guy until he came onto my nerves so I told him my name was Haruka.He asked me if he could call me Haru and I just nodded.

Kakaze's POV

"I just made my first friend!". She seemed interesting but she was really quiet but I think I would want to stay with her for a while. "Hey haruka do you want to come to my house to do homework?". I asked but she just kept ignoring me so I stopped talking. The whole day went by and I was at home showering and I was really tired. I wish that Haru could at least talk to me. I realized that Haru was really good at sports and she was really smart so why did she even need to go to school?

Haruka's POV

"ugh" I whined as I got up from bed. I got dressed as quietly as I could and I went downstairs to make and eat breakfast. When I finished I put the dishes away and I went to the door and said, "Goodbye." to the vacant house. I walked out and closed the fence gate. I got to school and changed shoes. I was walking to class and I saw that the transfer was waiting at my desk. He called me by my name and the whole class got quiet. I could hear them say " ugh what's that girl doing, trying to stick up to the transfer?". I just ignored them. I sat down.

Kakaze's POV

I was at home and I was eating breakfast and remembered Haru so I decided to go wait for her. I got at school early and I found this pink letter in my shoe locker. I opened it and it was a love letter but i just threw it away because i don't want to be in a relationship with anyone. I dumped the letter into the trash and got to class. I was waiting by her desk and Haru walked in and i yelled," Hey Haru over here!". The whole class got quiet and they started saying mean things and I looked at Haru. I saw her and she didn't even react she just sat down ignoring everyone. I felt so bad.

(school is over)

haruka's POV

I was walking out the school when Kakaze walked up to me and asked," Can I walk with you and hang out at your house to study?". I was thinking and I said," No.". He asked me and whined and I had to give in. So we started to walk to my house. He asked," Hey, don't you have to ask your parents or siblings?". I shook my head no. I came to the doorsteps and we walked in and sat at the couch.

Kakaze's POV

I asked Haruka if she had any family members but she just nodded no. I can't believe she's been living alone in this house. When we got in I suddenly realized that I'm going to be studying in a house with a girl all alone. I got really embarrassed and I started to feel hot. I ignored the feeling and we got settled in the living room and started to study. Over just two days I've realized that Haru rarely talks. We were studying and her pencil fell so I reached for it and we touched fingers and I looked at her and I've realized that-
