No one was at the tower except for you due to long missions but being alone had its perks. You wore your pjs all day. You normally wore them all the time when you didn't have to leave the tower. You blasted music throughout the building and danced with one of Tony's suits. You watched your shows and movies, and you fangirled like crazy. All in all, you just did whatever whenever. You took your best friend's advice to heart. "I do what I want." You applied this to your daily life, other than when authorities told you what to morally do. Indeed, you had befriended Loki, the green-eyed Jotun-Asgardian Prince. Everyone thought it was odd that you of all people instantly clicked to him seeing you were a goody two shoes like Steve.

You liked Loki because he brought out a different side of you. You wanted adventure and mystery. Beneath the shy quiet girl, was a unique girl who could be who she wanted without odd glances. Maybe that's why Loki and you connected because you understood how it felt to be different. You both brought out the good in each other. You made Loki become more like himself before the fall. He made you livelier and helped some of the inner you emerge to the surface. He made you realize that people and their opinions didn't always matter.

You sat on the couch watching Friends when someone put their hands over your eyes.

"Guess Who?"

"Hmm is it Steve? Or maybe Thor because you know his hands always feel so good." You laughed as you placed your hands on top of Loki's. You pulled his hands from your face to look up into his lovely eyes.

"You've held my oaf of a brother's hands before?!" Loki asked in jealousy.

"No silly goose, I was talking about you. I love your cold hands. I always feel so hot, but you are like a mobile AC. I am so jealous." You let go of his hands and watched him move to the front of the couch. He sat beside you and placed his hand on your forehead.

"Ahhh that feels nice... What would I do without you Snowflake?"

"Crash and burn darling." Fancy, that's a new nickname.

He just laughed and moved to the opposite side of the couch. He gently put your legs on his side and his legs on your side, that way both of your legs wouldn't eventually cramp. You turned up the volume on the TV so you could both watch as the Friends met up at Central Perk.

"I just love Joey!" You squealed as the camera focused on him.

"I know you like other guys better that you rave about."

"Oh, whatever Loki, you know what I meant." You both laughed and finished the episode.

"Loki, I'm bored. Where is a gun and smiley face wall when you need one?"

"I don't know, but perhaps a blanket could work?" He said as he made one appear.

"Look at us. We're in shock Loki." You giggled, and his facial expression turned to fake shock. Then you grabbed a pillow and put it on Loki's lap so you could lie down. Loki was really shocked after that, but the shock was replaced with a warm smile.

Loki decided that the best thing to do was read, and you were always enthralled to listen. He held the book he was currently reading with one hand, and he twirled the fingers of his free hand softly through your hair. His voice was so soothing, and he would always change his voice to match a character when they spoke. He even changed his voice when the tone of a story changed. You would often smile and look up at him, and he would look down to smile in return.

Unfortunately, after twenty chapters, you both somehow got bored again. You turned on the TV, and thankfully Doctor Who was on with your favorite doctor. You still had your head on Loki's lap, and he still played with your hair.
