He nervously walked over to the table where his girlfriend and her friends were sitting before class started.
"Tara, come here. I need to talk to you."
Mason had been dating Tara for exactly 3 months on this day. He pulled her aside to the hallway and looked down at her with his crystal clear blue eyes.
"So we've been dating for three months now and our relationship isn't going anywhere. We haven't even hung out yet." She looked away when he tried to meet her gaze. "I don't think we should be dating anymore, I'm sorry."
"Okay." Tara turned away and her gorgeous blonde curls made her way back to the table where she found her friends again. She speeded back with her arms flapping like she had no control. As she sat down the girls already had an idea of what had just happened because they had been anticipating this for weeks.
"I'm depressed." She mumbled as she put her forehead down on the table with a thump. "Mason just broke up with me."
Her friends tried to sound shocked and sympathetic but they all knew it was coming. Actually, they were waiting for Mason to break up with her for weeks now. He finally got the guts to do it.
