I stood in front of the old house, it's sad windows now fogged up, the place looked dead. I had three dog tags hanging around my neck now, just from the begining of the night. "Onyx let's move, the city is still two miles from here." I tore my eyes away to took at Dakoda. I walked past him, towards the bent over buildings and jogged the rest of the way. The buildings loomed overhead, taunting the skys bright stars. I breathed in deeply, the sweet air swirling in my lungs and I ducked down into the underground trading post. The air was dirty, the ground was cluttered and dried plants hung from the rafters.
"Willie!" I slammed my hand down on the front counter. Willie came around the corner, white hair splayed out everywhere and the empty socket where his eye once was stood out against the pale skin of his face. "One eyed Willie. It's been a while." I smiled and grasped his forearm in a greeting. "What could you possibly need this time Onyx?" He pulled out a knife and showed it to me. I shook my head. His eyes questioned me, but he waited. "Come closer, I can't speak of it outloud." He leaned back first, but brought his face to mine. I whispered into his ear and he grinned at me. "Still in the game. What do you have to trade?" I pushed the sentinels knives onto the counter. He took them and ran off to the back room, emerging in a few seconds with a wrapped package. "For your lady, and a little something for the road." He handed me a string of dried fruits. I nodded at him and backed up to let Jasper and Dakoda crowd the counter. I pulled the apricot off the string and chewed looking at the shelves. Willie grunted, pulling me from my trance and looking over to the boys. They were packing jars up in bags obviously not moving fast enough. I walked to the surface with only a glace behind me when I heard them rushing to catch up. "Home?" Jasper was standing behind me. I nodded taking the lead and walking towards the sunrise.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I got it." I handed Clarke the package wthout looking at her. Her fingers wrapped around the paper with a crinkle. The cave was hot, the fires had burned to big when I was gone and the heat hadn't excaped yet. I ripped the six tags from around my throat and added onto my fourteen myself. Twenty red lines adorned my skin now, they were bold statements of my winning. "You are strong Onyx." She had placed the now empty package down and came around me. Her legs rested against mine and her chest was pressed into my back. Her lips met my neck in a heated kiss. My heart stilled and the familiar coldness returned. "Your sugared words mean nothing if I don't win." I pulled my body from her and shuffled down the cave.
I dropped down next to Sol, his eyes understanding. His hand wrapped around my forearm. "Want to spar?" He reached for his sword. I smiled and nodded. I made it into the center of the cave and we both tossed out weapons to the side. I pulled my shirt over my head and handed the black cloth to a girl who fawned over it. "No throat." D yelled from the ledge above and Clarke joined him, her face held so much sadness. I directed my attention back to Sol, who was now inches from my face. "You have turned soft." He poked my side playfully and tackled me to the ground. I planted my feet at the divots of his hips and shoved him off. I flipped my body up and clashed with him again. A hand slammed into my face and knocked me off balance. People roared around me and I stood straight again and pummeled his ribs. His breath shook and I stepped back to kick his stomach. He flew back and slammed into a bystander. I straightened my back and a blade flew past my face and clattered to one of the cave walls. I looked over to see a sentinel that must have followed us. Fear laced his eyes, but he was grabbed before he could run off and brought before me.
My body twitched as I took his own blade in my palm and removed his helmet. "This is an act of war." He tried to excape as he spoke. I laughed. "War is what I was bred to do." I dropped the blade and pulled at his head, ripping it from his spine and right off his shoulders. His face was frozen in shock forever now and I tossed it to the side. My army cheered, they bounced the head around and violated the body. Clarke wrapped around me. "Let's go get you cleaned up." I fought her for a second before I let her drag me past the bloody scene and sat to wait for her to collect clothes for us. Minutes later she took my hand again and led me to a secluded pool, just big enough for two. My breathing was still rough, animalistic as she stripped my body bare and guided me into the cool water. She was slow moving as she washed my body and hair down. "You fear me now. I am not a wounded animal." I turned and pushed our body's together. She gasped and struggled against me. A primal feeling over took me and I lowered my mouth to the hollow of her throat. Her hands pushed against my slick body uselessly before giving into pleasure and wrapping her hands in my hair. I turned her around so her belly lay flat on the bank and ran my hands down her back. Her hips picked up and she tried desperately to turn back around. Her hands pushed mine away and her face met mine once again before she let her hands travel south and something pushed against my core. I grunted as it went in, and a part of me knew what it was. I wrestled with her again and this time pulled both our body's from the pool and shoved her down face first into the dirt. The entire scene was primal, humans turned over into an animalistic way. I lifted her hips up and brought my hand down on her ass. She mewled and shook her hips around seeking mine. The red strap on hung heavy between my legs and I shoved the whole thing inside her in one stroke. She screamed out, and I pushed into her again without pulling out at all. She groaned from the pressure. "Fells like you are in my belly." Her eyes rolled to the back of her head. My body twitched and I pulled out most of the way and slammed back into her. Her moaning was all I heard, nothing else mattered to me at the moment until she came undone at my fingertips. She shuttered under me, her lithe body arching under my touch until she went slack. "You are an animal Onyx." I only looked at her until she pulled me down to the crook of her neck and kissed the top of my cheek. "We should go back before they send out a search party." She nodded under me and we both quickly cleaned up and dressed, racing back to camp.
