Prologue
It was a bright sunny day, but it was also unnervingly cold.
The prince, still looking for his Cinderella, searches every house but one, the one that those wicked stepsisters roamed. He was glad they were dead.
He thought constantly about the beautiful girl he had seen so many years earlier, she was probably just about as old as him by now. He thought about her glowing skin, her beautiful golden hair, but mostly he thought about how kind she had been.
the forty year old prince had been king for twenty years now. he thought about what Cinderella looked like now, probably as beautiful as she was. that's what he thought, if he had seen her, he might of ran away screaming.
Cinderella sat, sleeping in the corner, her skinny boney hands supporting a skull with flesh pulled tightly over it. her lips were chapped and her hair was now a dingy brown color.
She was still waiting. Waiting for her prince to return to her.
So many years she had waited for him, wasting away. If he had really loved her, he would have found her already.
She realized how stupid she'd been to wait. She should of climbed out the window, even if it meant falling two stories onto the grass.
Her heart was set on one thing, revenge.
Cinderella put on an insane smile.
"If I'm going to present myself to the prince then I'm going to have to make a few changes."
She pulled a box of patches from under the bed and started assembling pieces of her new skin.
