Venus Mayfair.
"It's a pleasure to meet you sir," I shake Mr Woods hand before taking a seat on one of the black leather chairs in front of his wooden desk.
"Please call me Mr Woods, Miss Mayfair," He smiles.
"You already know why your here, but we're just going to give you a more clear image of why we called you," He explains, whilst I nod my head at his words.
"In your previous and current jobs, we saw you had very talented abilities that would create a great helping hand towards us, so we ringed you up and asked if you wanted to have an interview with us because we would love to hear about your thoughts on this available job opportunity," He clarifies. _
"Lani! Lani! Are you here?!" I shout as burst through our apartment door, the heavy scent of Kalani's perfume filling every space around me.
"Venus! I'm here!" Her voice rings from her bedroom. I run towards it and come face to face with Kalani who was my unthinkable, humorous and incredibly attractive best friend and roommate.
"I got the job! Can you believe it?!" I and she soon starts squealing with me. She runs towards me and engulfs me in tight hug.
"I'm so lucky to have such a smart best friend!" She chuckles. All of a sudden she pulls away and grips onto my shoulders, her expression becoming serious, "We need to celebrate for you," Her tone dead serious.
"No, Lani, it's just a job-" I look down, shaking my head and chuckling before getting cut off by Kalani.
"Venus! Of course we have to celebrate! Come on! Go get ready, I have a surprise," She pushes me out of her room and to the outside of her door way.
"Lani-" I start, but she brings a finger to my mouth, "Shhh," I knew I couldn't fight on her with this one so let out a sigh and make my way to my room and start picking out an outfit. I decide to dress myself in a pair of black skinny jeans and a black v neck satin top that was conjoined with a chocker. For shoes I went with a pair of simple black heels. I didn't want to over dress myself, knowing Kalani, she would probably take me to do something crazy and I wanted to be comfortable.

Before heading out to meet with Lani I packed my handbag with my essentials and spritzed myself with a lovely smelling perfume.
I knock on Lani's door, "Hey Lani, are you ready?"
"I sure am," She opens the door, dressed in a beautiful, white, skin hugging dress that showed off all of her stunning curves.
"If you were gonna look this good, you could of told be to change into something hotter!" I gush.
"Venus, you even look good in a garbage bag," She glares.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night," I chuckle. We leave the apartment and take the elevator down to the car park.
"So I rang my dad earlier and you know how he has that convertible car?" Lani asks. "Yea," We continue walking.
"He's letting me use that car for that night!" She squeals, the glow in her green eyes, shining brighter than before.
"Kalani! Are you being serious right now? Your dad loves that car with his whole soul, he wouldn't even let the queen touch it if she could!" I gasp, not trusting a word she's saying.
"You don't believe me? Look right in front of you," She smirks, while I follow to where her eyes are. I find the car parked right there, Lani unlocks the doors, making a honk come from the car.
"Lani! This is amazing!" She nods.
"First, we are gonna have a drive around the beach while blasting Childish Gambino, then there's this amazing club that we're gonna go to." She informs.
"Sounds good to me," I smile, getting into the car and putting my sunnies on. _
"We should do drives around the beach more often, it's so calming" I nod, getting out of the car and getting ready to go into the club.
You could hear the music pounding from outside, it was that loud. Many bright lights, sweaty people.
"Lets go to the bar and get some drinks," I suggest and that Kalani nods her head. And that's when I met eyes with him. I could feel my heartbeat in my ears and my pulse quickened. He was wearing a white button up shirt, with a few buttons undone and the sleeve pulled up to his elbows, giving a glimpse of his popping forearm veins and some black suit pants.
I observed him longer. He massaged his hand through his messy brown hair, constantly taking sips of what looked like beer. He looked like he had just got back from a long day of work. I couldn't peel my eyes off him. And it was then, when he looked over his shoulder to meet eyes with me.
My face flushed bright red as he looked at me head to toe. But before I could do anything, he turned his head back, finishing his beer and slinging his suit jacket, that was sitting next to him on bar, over his shoulders and walking out.
"Venus, come on! You were the one suggesting drinks!" Kalani screams over the pounding music, grabbing hold of my forearm and dragging me to the bar. _ Hope you enjoyed! Make sure to, vote, comment and follow me!
