"Rod,"

"Sir, alam mo naman small time Mayor lang ako-"

"Shut up. I came here to talk to you, not you to talk to me."

I sighed. I looked outside the window and let my mind wonder while the man in front of me talk the sense out of his words. He just told me the most unbelievable things. That I should run for the highest post of the land. That it is the right time for someone like me to lead the people of this country. Who are you to tell me that?, I thought. I snapped back to reality and suddenly asked him,

"Sir, sino naman ang kasama ko niyan?"

"Anong ibig mong sabihin? Sinong VP mo yun ba?"

"Oho,"

He paused then he stared at me. He does not have any ready answer. I sighed again and stood up in my seat. I offered my hand to him and said,

"Pag-isipan ko muna, sir."
