It was my first day at the new High school, I had just moved here after my mother left me and dad "Sweetie your going to be late!" Dad yelled from downstairs, I hurried up and grabbed my phone and bag and went down, I grabbed a apple, a small bag of chips and a soda and threw them into my bag "Okay I'm heading off" I walked over and hugged him "Love you Dani" He smiled "Love you too dad" I closed the door and off I went, I shoved my headphones in and turned up the volume and began walking

soon enough I got there and I walked to the principles office and got my glass schedule and my student ID, I walked to my first class which was Music and took a seat, soon the teacher walked in and begun "Okay before we start we have a new student joining us" She smiled at me "Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself" She added, I nodded and stood up "Hi I'm Daniele Black  but everyone calls me Dani, My dad and I just moved her about two weeks ago, at my other school I wasn't the favorite of anybody because I was 'Different' then everyone else and that's pretty much it" I sat back down "What do you by Different?" the Teacher asked "Just my music taste and the way I dress" I shrugged, she nodded and began

It was now lunch and I was sitting alone outside drinking my soda, I loved the fresh air I remember when I was little I had a treehouse and would spend hours and hours just sitting up there listening to nature, I leaned against the tree I was sitting under and looked up to see the bright fall colors, I smiled, soon the bell rang and I sighed, I grabbed my bag and threw away the soda can and headed to my next class which was Art "Ahh Miss Black take a seat" the teacher smiled "Now since Miss Black wasn't here last week I'll give her another week" He smiled, I raised my hand " What's next week?" I asked "Our Art Projects" A girl rolled her eyes, like I knew "Everyone turned in their so I'll give you till monday to create yours" He leaned on his desk, It's already Thursday Shit I better get to work, I raised my hand again "May I go ahead and start now?" I asked "Go on Ahead" He smiled, I nodded and began working

It was the end of the day and I was putting my books in my locker "Hey you" I looked to see the girl from Art stood there, she was the preppy type of girl "Ahh hi" I closed my locker, I went to turn around  but there were two other girls "Grab her" The girl said, the two grabbed me and dragged me into the bathroom, they pushed me in and locked the door, soon the punches came

"Pathetic" She laughed and walked out, I got up and Looked into the mirror "Fuck" I had a big bruise on my cheek  and a cut under my eye "How am I going to explain this to dad?" I asked myself, I hurried and went back to my locker and got my bag and started walking out the door, I started walking down the street heading to my house, soon enough I got home and Dad walked around the corner "What happened?" He walked over and looked at my face I had to think of something "I tripped in the halls" I looked at him, I think he bought it "Alright well Go freshen up Dinner will be ready in a half hour" He looked at me then went back into the kitchen, I sighed and went upstairs and took a quick shower

It was now late at night and I was getting ready for bed, I turned on my music and I Write Sins Not Tragedies came on, I started singing and dancing around in my room and at the end I fell onto my bed "Fuck man" I put my hands over my eyes and sighed "I don't want to go to school tomorrow" I got up and looked out my window "Is it weird that my bed faces this?" I thought to myself, I shook my head and walked over to my closet and got out my guitar "What song though?" I thought to myself, I shrugged and just started strumming away

It was early morning and I just got to school and I saw Her, I made my way past her and got to my locker "That's Stacey" I heard someone say, I turned around to see a guy  in Black skinny jeans, a White T shirt and a leather jacket on "Alright Good to know" I closed my locker "Name's Andy" He smiled "Dani" I smiled back, he had the most beautiful bye eyes you'd ever want to see "I saw you in Music and Art yesterday" We started walking "I didn't see you" I looked at him "I usually stay hidden in the back where no one can see me" He chuckled, I nodded "Hey since your new in town how about I show you around this place?" He suggested "Alright" I smiled "So what class you have first?" He asked "Math" I looked ahead "Oh Your in the same class my one friend is in" He smiled, we talked a bit more and he seems like a nice guy "Alright here we are" He smiled "Wanna sit at lunch with me and my friends?" He asked "Sure why not" I shrugged "Alright see you then" He winked and walked away... wait did he just wink?

"Hey over here!" Andy Waved, I walked over and sat down "Hey This is, Cc, Jake, Ashley and Jinxx" Andy introduced them "and Guys this is Dani" Andy looked at them "Hey I saw you in Math earlier" Cc smiled, we all talked for a bit and they all seemed nice, as we were talking Someone poured there drink over my head "What the fuck!?" I jumped up and turned around "Oops sorry" Stacey smirked and walked away, I angrily groaned and walked to the restrooms  to clean up "Just like my old school" I sighed as I looked in the mirror, I cleaned up and walked out "You okay" Andy asked "Yeah" I sighed, he nodded and the bell rang "C'mon we have Art to get to" He held my hand and we headed off
