You were an angel,
sent from above,
who was ever so precious,
and so full of love.
when you came to me,
I must confess,
I was so nervous,
And such a mess,
I didn't think,
I was good enough for you.
That you would ever be,
A friend so true,
But you proved me wrong,
And decided to stay.
You opened my world,
And brightened my day
As the years flew on our friendship stayed strong.
I'd hope you'd never leave,
I'd hope you'd stay long.
But something happened,
Something I can't explain.
When I saw your face,
And saw the pain,
You told me you'd never leave.
You always said you'd stay.
But now you're gone,
you went away,
I promised myself,
I wouldn't cry.
That I'd stay strong.
But I couldn't lie,
As they lowered you down,
Into the cold hard ground.
I could hear nothing,
There wasn't a sound,
As I fell to the ground,
Right next to your grave,
I tried so hard,
to be brave,
But it was too wept,
I Broke down and wept,
You were gone,
You were eternally kept
