"will you be my girlfriend?" alex said pulling away, as my mom, dad and even Kayla came to the door.
my mom was holding Kayla up.
"yes, yes, yes," I smiled.
"a million times, yes." I smiled, and we kissed again.
I pulled away and Kayla was crying.
"I've been waiting for this day since the moment he followed you on the doc," she said.
we walked hand in hand down to his jeep.
we held hands as he drove.
we decided to go walk around the town and get ice cream.

we got back to the cafe, as our wait was over.

we finished eating and went and sat by some swings by a lake.
"you know this is where my dad purposed to my mom," alex laughed.
I smiled and grabbed his hand.
"it's been a special place to me ever since." he smiled.
we kissed.
"do you think we should tell Aidan and Chloe?" I asked as we stopped.
"of course," alex smiled.
"tonight's my moms birthday, but only close friends and family are coming. your welcome to stay the night again" alex smiled.
I smiled.
"sounds fun, do I have to dress nice?" I asked.
"your fine," he laughed.
we drove back home and got ready for his moms party.
I loved alex.
he was my future, I already knew.
we drove back to his house and sang along to the radio.
we walked in and his mom was making food in her nurses outfit.
"mama, may I introduce you to my girlfriend," alex smiled.
I laughed, I had met his mom as his best friend several times, but now I was his girlfriend.
"awe! you guys are finally dating," she squealed.
"best decision of my life," he smiled and kissed my forehead.
"well, the party starts at 6, so you have about 45 minutes to get ready,"
