Kate's P.O.V
The project is surprisingly going well. Even though we got distracted loads of times, we still managed to get more done. I walked downstairs and had some breakfast. Derek walks out whistling some song and then sits on the kitchen bench.
"So..how's the project going?" Derek asks. I shrugged and put my bowl in the sink.
"Um..good? I think?" I laugh and then get a glass of water.
"You know, I have a feeling you like Sonny!" He confesses. I nearly choked on my water. How did he know? Well, he does know what I think sometimes.
"Umm...why would you think that?" I ask awkardly not making it obvious. He laughs and grabs his bag.
"Don't worry, it will just be our secret." He winks and walks over and kisses my head. I love my big brother. I could always trust him.

We arrived at school and I got greeted by someone wrapping their arms around my waist from behind. I knew it was Sonny.
"Morning gorgeous." He says sweetly. I swear I was going to have a mini heart attack when he said that. I knew I was blushing horribly.
"Morning cutie pie." I blush. He giggled and blushed too. Together we walk to our classes and wait for the day to end.
After all the periods of the day, we were going to my place to hang out. We were making our way home, while I kept feeling his hand brushing up against mine. I knew he wanted to hold it. When he wasn't paying attention, I gently slipped my hand around his and interlocked our fingers. He smiled and tightened his grip. We arrived at my place. Derek was already there listening to music on his phone. He greeted Sonny and we walked upstairs. We both sat on my bed and started talking, singing, sharing personal things and stuff.
"You know, not very long ago I found out I was adopted.." Sonny confesses. He was?! How could anyone give up should a sweet and gorgeous kid?
"Aww Sonny, I'm so sorry..did they tell you face to face?"
"No, I heard it through the grapevine." I sigh and tackle him in a big hug.
"Feeling better now?" I ask. He laughs and tickles me. God I hate when he does that!!
"S-Sonny! Stop t-tickling m-me you d-dipshit!!" I squeal. He laughs and tickles my waist.
"Never!!" He yells and then finally stops. I lay my head down on his lap while he plays with my hair.
"Hey Sonny..can I ask you something?" He smiles and starts braiding my hair.
"Yeah sure, ask away!" He laughs which made me too.
"Do you like anyone..?" I was nervous hearing his answer. What if he doesn't like me back?
"Well..there is the one girl that really caught my eye.." He starts. I sort of got scared and nervous. It's probably some other chick that is way better than me.
"Aww does little Sonny have a little crush?" I said while pinching his cheeks. He giggled (which so SOOO adorable!) and blushed looking down.
"I guess so, she is gorgeous, smart, fun, creative and down right adorable!" He says blushing more. I know it's totally not me. I'm not gorgeous or smart or fun or any of those things. I'm just a weird emo looking kid with no friends and scares all the boys away.
"She sounds amazing...I'm not any of those things.." I say and drop my head. He crawls over to me and hugs me tight. Then he softly whispers.
"But...you are that girl..." He says blushing.
Was I really?!
A/N HEY! Sorry for the late chapter and short chapter but I promise I will make the next chapter longer!! Also I lost the whole chapter twice so I had to re-write it and come up with new ideas :) btw SONNY FAVOURITED MY TWEET TODAY OMFG YAY I was seriously crying for 2 hours lol xD anywhore I have high school next week so I'll try and update as much as I can
