Crisis

It was mid year 2025, Chemical warfare was at a minimum. Or so we thought, it seemed as if a nothing was wrong. Normal day, well at least normal for us we were a abnormal group of kids. Their was Gannon, he was a writer.His stories were amazing. Their was John He went by the name of Poke, he was the newbie. There was JAK, the one girl in the group. She was a talented musician . Their was Aiden, your casual mobile gamer. And then their was me the literal biggest one in the group, I was more than tech savvy. Like the whole nine yard. We all had physical and mental attributes that pushed us that much farther. Now, Chemical warfare was made to be a small problem by social media It seemed like nothing. Amber Alert's where increasing and we didn't think much of it because we were young and we couldn't do anything. Little did we know that it was apart of something bigger than we would ever be. It was a somewhat a normal day. Most of our teachers had sub. They were saying around school that their was a huge meeting and all the teachers were required to participate. And the elective teachers were acting different, they acted as if they did not care. As if the whole world was about to stop. Little did we know it was. First period was great. No work, no teachers, nothing. Most kids were playing on their electronics. Me I was on my laptop working on a program, a mobile app. I had been working on it for the past year. It was built on the iOS platform and not yet working. Aiden was testing out one of the games I previously built for the Android platform, JAK was listening to music. Poke and Gannon were in a different classrooms then us. Silence had been broken by a voice over the intercom. "All student please report to you next class at this time." We all got up and and headed out into the hallway. To our surprise there were many cops in the hall. At the time we were not sure what it was about. Some of the students were being escorted out by a cop to the office. Me Aiden and Gannon all have the same next class. We did nothing but play around on the computers in the lab. Previously we had seen one particular student running but then picked up and taken by one of the police officers previously mentioned. That was the weirdest thing I had seen yet, but there was more to come next classes went by fast, didn't seem like much was going on. Next class we are all in together. We all sit down and look around, their are very few students remaining. As we start talking the power shuts off. Officers flood the halls like waves. Nine Officers enter our room with their weapons drawn. One warns us to be as quiet as possible and to get under the table. We do as he says and hide. We hear a small growl from outside. There were animals outside that were non we have ever seen. One was able to break through the glass and grabbed one of the officers and pulled him through the glass. Then the beast leaped through the window and an order was given to fire. Every mag had been unloaded on the beast. It seemed as if it had not been affected. As if bullets did not affect it in anyway shape or form. The beast pounced onto the officers. We took that chance to run. As we leave I see the previously mentioned officer's gun lying on the floor. I grab it and keep going. We get to an empty room, we look at each other with a puzzled look. Not knowing what it say or do. We just sit there. Aiden starts to call his parents. We all proceed to do the same. The phones must have been cut off because none of us could reach them. Gannon then spoke "We should head down to the video production lab, they should have the equipment to reach someone." As we sneak down there we see men in suits similar to a storm trooper carrying some sort of cargo on Levipads. Not sure who or what they are we avoid them. We run into a Bryce who also made it out when we escaped. He decides to join us on our journey to the lab. As we enter we are greater by two officers with a taser drawn and another on the computer. Immediately Bryce is shot with the taser and falls to the ground I pull my gun and put three bullets in his head. It was the first time I had ever killed anybody. I point it at the other officer and tell his to hand me his weapons. He put a knife, a gun, and a taser and kicked each of them towards me. I handed the gun to Gannon I handed the knife to Aiden and the taser to JAK. Gannon told the officer to tell us what he knows. He explained that his troop had been assigned to this this school. He said that each officer had been assigned a student and the need to transport safely from the school to there house. Then there were men with animals. They unleashed these beasts upon the officers, many ran most were mauled by the ferocious beast. The ones that got away went to classrooms and me and my partner that you just murdered were working to establish a connection with the outside. Sadly all towers are down. After he finishes Bryce starts to come to. At that point we realized that there was nothing left at the school that could benefit us. Before we left we raided the place, the only thing useful was the radios. Both Aiden and I had our drivers permit and I had the knowledge to hot wire certain types of cars. We wired and mini-van and a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. It was a classic but one of the best. Me Bryce and JAK got into the Camaro while Gannon Aiden and Poke took the minivan. There were little to no cars throughout the city. "The traffic lights are completely shut down" I say. "How do you know this" Bryce asks. As I start to ramble on he stops me mid sentence and points the lights out in the sky multiple objects with a flare type appearance. At that moment i decided to have set up a hotspot for my laptop to find out what the hell is going on. "As soon as I establish a secure connection we can find out what's going on and what to do" I said. As soon as it connects a voice connects that is repeating a message "what the hell is that noise?" JAK asked. "It's a message but it's encrypted" I said "since the device I'm currently using is not registered in the program I have to decrypt it but currently I don't have the programs nor the processing power to decrypt as fast as my desktop" "ENGLISH" yelled JAK "we're gonna be here a while" After the message had been processed and decrypted the message played "Attention all Canadian residents, your are viewing this message because their has been a dangerous attack. This attack has put this entire planet at stake. We have public underground vaults for protection. The private vaults have now been unlocked. Thank you." "Poke's parents had previously bought a private vault" said Gannon. "My parents are currently in America" said Poke. "We should head towards your house Poke, could you provide directions?" "Yeah" "let's go, we'll follow you." As we head off towards Poke's house the light in the sky is steadily getting closer. Thirty minutes later we arrive at Poke's house. It's one of the best houses money can buy around here. It has been raided sadly. Poke starts beating on the wall and presses his ear to it. He yells here and I ask "what's here?". Which he responds with "The ID card it's in here!" He proceeds to ask me to punch a hole in the wall. I start to question but mid sentence he tells me to "Just do it!" So I did and sure enough there was a box with a ID card used to unlock the vault. We all head to a small room with industrial doors and and ID card reader. Poke unlocks the doors and we all step aboard the elevator and a video starts to play explaining what's going. When we reach the. Bottom their where it seemed people had already inhabited this underground establishment. They seemed welcoming, but suspicious. Their were people of all ages their. Immediately they recognized poke. Their was one man with a bulky but slim device strapped to his arm. It intrigued me. This man was deemed the leader of the people down their civilization. I was taken to the strange mans office while the others where taken to living quarters. I didn't know what was going on but i was tense, and not sure I trusted them but I had no other option.
