We were all outside, gazing up at the dark purple sky when we had the feeling that we were being watched. Not by a person, but a creature. Rachel spotted something moving in the bushes. The creature jumped out of the bushes and nearly pounced on Zach. But then the creature leaped at Rachel. I couldn't let Rachel get hurt by that "thing". So I quickly ran in front of Rachel, blocking her from the creature's pounce. When it pounced on me, it started attacking me like prey. Andy then readied her weapon and slashed the creature, leaving it to die. It bit her while the knife still in it's back. But she didn't mind.
Rachel, Zach, and Andy then ran over to me. There were gashes all over my body. I was bleeding out fast. I had passed out at this point.
"Maz?" They all repeatedly said.
"She's bleeding out."
"What do we do?"
Andy said concerning.
"We have to bring her back to the house. There we will give her medical care. I hope we won't be too late..."
