It was the first day of December and the couple were going to be decorating their house. It had not yet snowed, but it was supposed to later in the evening.
Sanji had decided that they should put the lights up before it started. He had explained to the moss head that it would be better just in case the snowfall got heavy and they slipped.
After some arguing and persuasive kisses, Sanji had Zoro up on a ladder attaching the lights to the house.
"This is stupid." Zoro grumbled, "Why do we need stupid lights anyway?"
Sanji puffed on his cigarette as he looked up. "Because its going to be Christmas soon." He threw the butt of his cigarette on the ground and stuffed his hands in his coat pockets. "It's not Christmas if you don't have Christmas decorations."
"Whatever." Zoro reached to his chest and unzipped his dark coat. He slipped it off his shoulders and tossed it down to his boyfriend. "Hold that, I can't move with it on."
Sanji sighed and shook his head, mumbling about how he was going to catch a cold.
Zoro ignored him and got to work, completely unaware that the cute blond was staring at his ass.
Ten minutes later Zoro started to climb down the ladder when Sanji stopped him.
"You need to fix that spot there." He pointed to the section above the window. "It's drooping a little."
Zoro rolled his eyes. "It'll be fine, no one will notice if it's drooping a little bit."
Sanji frowned, "But I'll know."
Zoro sighed and climed back up the ladder to fix it.
Sanji admired the way Zoro's muscles bulged as he climed the ladder. His eyes traveled down and he stared at that gorgeous ass. Sanji bit his lip and held Zoro's coat close to his chest.
For the next fifteen minutes, Sanji would make Zoro fix the almost nonexistent problems regarding the lights.
Zoro was just about to climb down again when Sanji said, "The lights there-"
"No." Zoro hissed, climbing down. "If you have a problem with the damn lights, you fix them."
His feet hit the ground and Sanji puffed out his cheeks. Zoro walked to him and leaned over to speak in his ear. "I know you've been staring at my ass you pervert chief."
Sanji blushed red as Zoro kissed his ear. "I don't really mind, my ass is nice."
Zoro pulled back, a smirk on his face. He grabbed the cook's arm and lead him to the front door. "Come on, it's a little chilly out. I want something to warm me up."
He gave a suggestive wink as he pulled Sanji through the door, which caused the blond's blush to darken.
Once they were inside and the door was locked, Sanji scurried off to the kitchen. When he came back with hot chocolate five minutes later, Zoro was sitting on the couch, a fuzzy blanket thrown over his lap.
Sanji set the mugs on the coffee table and slipped his coat off, laying it on the arm of the couch. He quickly grabbed the two mugs before sitting down next to Zoro. Sanji handed him a mug before pulling some of the blanket onto him and getting comfortable next to the swordsman.
Zoro took a drink before he wrapped an arm around the blond. They sat there for a while in silence before Zoro said, "Hey, it's snowing."
Sanji looked out at the scenery that he could see from the window and smiled. Little white flakes were falling from the sky. "It is."
Sanji rested his head on Zoro's shoulder and closed his eyes. The two dozed off as snow continued to fall from the darkening sky.
