Chapter 1: Runaway

Faith Blue POV-

I launched up from my little make-shift bed since I am not allowed to sleep in a real one. It was 5 in the morning. I jumped up and got ready for school. I put on some old baggy sweatpants and some giant shirt. I ran down the stairs are starting on Jason breakfast. Last time I forgot about his food he beat me pretty badly. So since then I have always remember waking myself up, cooking and just leaving before he could see me.
After I was done I ran upstairs to grab my backpack and ran out the house.
We lived a great deal away from the middle and high school. But I honestly don't care. Walking to and from school is my only peace. And I like it. I arrived school late today because I was walking extra slow. No one was in the hallways or so I thought. My brother and his group of friends were there.
" Look baby it's your pathetic excuse of a sister. It seems she is late to school." Bethany said. I hate her with all of my guts. And she isn't even loyal since she is fucking Tim behind my brothers back. Tim and my brother Seth are best friends. They grew up together and they abuse me together. I kept my head down walking past them quickly.
" Hey slut." I ignored Tim as he called me. Then I was snatched back by my hair.
" I was calling you whore." He says yanking my head side to side painfully. I looked at him with so much hatred and for a moment I saw hurt and guilt flash through his eyes but it quickly went away.
" Why are you late for school. Probably fucking someone." Seth says. I just looked at him as he hurt me. He smacked me.
" I asked you a fucking question bitch." He yells smacking me again. I don't give them the satisfactory our yelling in pain.
" I was walking to school. If you haven't notice and I'm sure you didn't it is a 5 mile walk to school." I was punched to the ground.
" How dare you bitch. I am your Beta you will respect me." He yells kicking me in the stomach.
" Your not my Beta and you will never be." I say. Then all hell broke loose. I was punched, kicked, slapped, thrown everywhere. It hurt so much but I never made a peep. They finally finished and backed away.
" Next you say something like that your dead bitch." Seth says kicking me in the head one last time. I closed my eyes from the pain and listened to them walking away laughing. I opened my eyes and saw Tim and a new girl look back at me with sad looks on their face. I stayed there a moment making sure they weren't going to come back and stood up slowly.
Faith we can't keep living like this. We need to leave now
We can't Karma
Why not. They don't want us here and if we get another beating we are going to die. Please leave this Pack and just live happily and freely
I sighed and nodded my head. I walked out the school and jogged home. Once I arrived I went to my room in the basement and pack some clothes that I had. A picture of my family from before the beating started and some electronics that I brought but never opened. I stuffed them all in one backpack and I started to write a note to my brother and mom and dad. I placed the notes in there room and took a lot of cash since we were rich with being the Beta family. I grabbed some keys and ran out to a car my parents brought me the last time they were here. I know what you're thinking. How can I drive and only be in middle school. I am fifteen and in 8th grade. I pulled out and drove away quickly without being caught by the police.
After about two hours I made it to the pack line. I stopped before it and just stared.
Don't stop now Faith. We are so close
If we leave we will be rogues
No we won't. Rogues are werewolves kicked out a pack. If we leave on our own we will be lone wolves. They're is a big difference and we can cross into all the pack land without a problem. It's the wolf law.
I sighed.
Are you sure Karma
Yes I am so sure of this
" Okay." I said. I crossed over slowly and when I was finally over the line. So much pain hit me like a ton of bricks. I pushed through it since it wasn't as bad as the beating and drove away.
We should go to London. And start a new life
That would move us away from most packs even the royal one
Yes I know but they will come looking for us and they will never find us if we are living thousands of miles over water from them
I thought about what she said.

I let her take over my body and moved to the darkness corner of my mind falling asleep.

No ones POV~ (While Faith is driving across the pack line.)

Seth did always felt bad for beating his sister but it was always her fault. Especially when their mom and dad was always gone. Tim and his mate that he just found wanted to hurt they're friends for hurting Faith but they couldn't because Seth is next in line for the Beta position. Maria my mate knows I had sex with Bethany multiple times behind Seth's back. At first she was furious bit then I convinced her to give me a chance. I didn't tell anyone.
They were all at lunch eating and throwing food around. They're school was an all werewolf school so no humans were here. Tim cleared his throat trying to get all of the attention but failing miserably. As he was going to call out 'hey' they all felt pain of someone crossing the pack line. Someone important was leaving the pack. It went away after two minutes and everyone looked around towards the important people of the pack to see who left. Phones rang and chatter was getting very loud. We all felt gravity towards the Alpha, Luna, Beta and Beta female coming on the lands meaning they felt the pain too.
Everyone get to the pack house now. We are having a meeting
Everyone got up as soon as they heard the Alpha give the command and went to the pack house. Seth did a quick scan of everyone looking for someone before leaving.

It didn't take long for everyone to be at the pack house. Seth and his friends stayed in the back waiting for the meeting to begin. Seth was looking for his sister everywhere but couldn't find her. The Alpha got on stage and all noise stopped.
" Everyone I have called you all here because of the pain we went through. If you don't know what that pain was, it was a important wolf leaving the pack for good." He sighed and the Luna came up behind him rubbing his back to calm him. He smiles at her and she nodded her head encouragingly.
" Does anyone know who left." He asked. We all shook our heads. Seth looked to see mom and dad over to the side. They looked at him with sad and confused eyes.
' Were is Faith, Seth.' His dad asked him. And just like that something clicked in Seth's mind. He quickly ran off. If Seth's mom and dad didn't see her then she wasn't there. He ran all the way back home and crashed through his front door.
" FAITH." Seth screamed. He ran down to the basement where he made her sleep and live when their mom and dad wasn't home. He found nothing and his heart started to beat faster. He ran upstairs to her room and opened the door. Her scent was in the room but it wasn't really strong. He checked everywhere in her room but found nothing. As he came out he smelled her scent going down the hallway to his and the parents room. He went to his room and his heart stopped when he saw the piece of paper on his bed. He walked over to it and saw a little yellow sticky note attached to it also. He begin too read the papers.

Dear Seth,
If you are reading this then that means you know I left. I left because I couldn't handle the bullying anymore. If I went through another beating I wasn't going to live. I know you probably don't care that I left but I'm sure mom and dad does. And your probably angry because I made them worry and sad. I do love you big brother and I always will. I don't know if I'm going to come home or when I am. Please make sure mom and dad don't worry about me to much and stop doing their jobs.
On the sticky note it said.
Oh and I wrote mom and dad a letter but I didn't tell them you and your friends were my bullies. You can do that yourself, so destroy this note after you read it.
Seth went into the bathroom flushing the toilet with the sticky note and walking out his room to the front room with his note. He saw his mom and dad sitting there with her note to them their hands reading the last bit of it out loud together.
Please don't come looking for me. Keep doing your pack jobs as Beta's of the pack and know that I am happy wherever I am mom and dad. I love you all so much.
" Oh Harold." His mom cried out. His dad held his mate in his arm with tears coming out of his eyes to.
" Our baby girl is out there and she hasn't even shifted yet. Why did she have to leave." His mom cried. Seth went over and held his mom as well. His dad giving him a look saying they were going to talk when mom is asleep.
On that day lots of hearts broke but only one started to heal slowly.
