Chapter 3 (REVISED)

I keep seeing my work mates keep looking at me but when I am starting to look at them, bigla naman din iiwas ng tingin.

I shake my head and continue working.

"Kate."

I didn't look at the person who called my name but I know who it is.

"Hmm?" I answered.

"Hindi ka ba naiintimidate?" She asked.

Binaba ko yung ballpen ko at tumingin kay Thea na nasa tabi ko na.

"Bakit naman?"

Mas lumapit pa to sakin "Kanina ka pa nililingon at pinag uusapan ng mga kasama natin dito. Kahit sa ibang department ikaw ang pinagpepyestahan nila." She looks worried while saying it.

Napairap ako, "So? wala akong dapat ikaintimidate dyan. You know them, hindi naman titigil ang mga 'yan hanggat hindi ko sila hinaharap. But, I have no time to waste Thea. Let them think what they want. Hayaan mo na magsawa sila kaka-chismis."

She let out a sigh,
"Of all people Kate? You are just dating Azrael Montefalco. An acting COO of Montefalco industry and sir Rage best of friend. What do you think they are thinking?" Madramang sabi sakin nito.

"Thea. Hindi ko na poproblemahin kung anong iniisip nila. Besides, it's my life and not theirs. What's wrong if I am dating the COO and sir Rage best of friend?"

"Just be careful. Ayoko lang naman masaktan ka bandang huli."

Ngumisi ako dito, "Ofcourse Thea, and I appreciate your concern. Come on, loosen up. I can manage myself."

Napansin kong ngumiti na ito, "Well. i would rather date Josiah than Azi." Mahinang sabi nito.

Tumawa ako, "Oh. Josiah? You are just dreaming of dating Josiah Montefalco. A CEO of Montefalco Shipyard."

Nag iwas ito ng tingin at bumalik na sa pwesto nito.

Napangiti ako at tinignan ang phone ko.

Napabuntong hininga ako.

Nadinig kong nagka-gulo yung mga kasamahan ko at nagsibalikan sa mga pwesto nila.

"Kate."

Lumingon ako kay Julianna, "Yes Ma'am?"

Umirap ito sakin, "Stop calling me ma'am nga."

Ngumiti ako dito, "Bakit ba?"

"Rage wants to talk to you." Halos pabulong na sabi nito.

Napakunot noo ako dito, "Seryoso ba yan?"

Umiling ito at ngumiti. "Pumunta kana lang don sa office nya."

"Alright, mmay ginawa ba kong mali?" Tanong ko dito.

Becaus sir Rage will not call someone at this department kung may iuutos lang since we have Julianna as our manager, although she's sir Rage secretary too.

Tinawanan lang ako nito kaya napairap na lang ako at dumiretso na sa elevator. I fix my clothes and hair while I was in the elavator, at nang huminto na ito sa tamang palapag ay lumabas agad ako at dumiretso sa office ni sir at kumatok bago buksan ito.

Tumikhim ako, "Good day sir. Pinapatawag nyo daw po ako?"

"You are 2 minutes late."

My eyes widened when Azrael pull me close to his arm before closing the door.
