#36: Dolans

Lily woke up in her room. She felt a strong pair of arms around her waist. She turned over to face Grayson. She remembered why he was in her bed. She smiled as she cuddled up closer to him. As she was falling asleep, Grayson woke up. He kissed the top of her head.

"Good morning" he said in his morning voice.

Lily smiled at him. "Good morning, shall we go down for breakfast?" They got out of bed and made their way to the kitchen. As thy entered, they saw Mr and Mrs Lovegood in the kitchen. Mr Lovegood was sitting at the table while Mrs Lovegood was cooking. Grayson and Lily smiled as they joined Mr Lovegood at the table.

"How did you sleep last night?" Mrs Lovegood asked.

"Great!" Lily replied. "We watched a few movies. I fell asleep half way through a movie. I guess Grayson closed my laptop before he went to sleep". Mrs Lovegood placed two plates in front of them. No one spoke while they ate breakfast.

After breakfast, Grayson and Lily walked upstairs to Lily's room. Lily got changed in the bathroom while Grayson waited in her bedroom. After that, they began to walk to Grayson's apartment. As they were walking, Grayson looked down at their intertwined hands.

"Lily?" She hummed in response. "Do ya remember yesterday when you said you didn't mind meeting my family? Well, they came early. They said they'd be here around 3pm. Is that alright with you? You don't have to meet them if you don't want to!"

"Gray! I'd love to meet your family. Don't worry. I'm sure they'll be lovely". They walked together in silence. They arrived at the apartment, and Grayson opened the door for her. "Oh! You're such a gentleman" Lily teased.

"Only for m'lady" he played along. Lily giggled as she walked into the living room. Grayson followed behind her, closing the door after him. She saw Ethan sleeping on the couch. She smiled as she sat next to him. She gently shook him awake.

"Ethan?" He opened his eyes and smiled at her as he woke himself up. "Do you want to go to bed? It's bad sleeping in an uncomfortable position. It can cause you severe pain. Why don't you go to bed? Grayson and I will wake you up when your family gets here".

He smiled as he carried himself to his room. Grayson sat next to Lily and wrapped his arm around her. "I love you so much! You know that, right? I love you so much! I don't know what I'd do without you! You make me so happy! I love you so much!"

Lily kissed his perfectly soft lips. "I love you more!"

"Doubt it" he replied as he deepened the kiss. She smiled into the kiss. Grayson's hands found themselves on her waist. Lily had her hands on the back of his neck. He began to push her down onto the couch, not breaking the kiss. Grayson hovered over her, his hands resting on her hips.

They were disturbed by a knock on the apartment door. They stopped and stared at each other. Lily laughed as she heard Grayson sigh. He got off her and made his way to the door. That gave Lily enough time to sit up on the couch, making it look like they weren't doing anything.

"Mom! Cam!" Grayson exclaimed. He opened the door and two women entered the apartment. Grayson closed the apartment door as he led them to the living room. "Where's dad?" Grayson asked them.

"He'll be up in a min" the smaller of the two women said. "He's trying to find a parking space". The two women faced Lily with a smile. "Who's this beautiful girl?" Grayson smiled as he sat next to Lily with his arm over her shoulder.

"Mom, Cam. Meet Lily, my girlfriend. Lily, this is my mom and sister" Grayson introduced. Lily smiled as she shook hands with them. They both smiled at her as they sat down to get to know her more.

"I can tell you are the best girl Gray has ever had" Cam said. Lily blushed. "Gray hasn't been happy in a while. Until he met you. Thank you for making him happy. Please don't hurt him". Lily held Grayson's hand.

"It would kill me to hurt Gray. I promise, I will never hurt him" Lily promised. Just then, there was a knock on the door. "Oh my God! I need to wake Ethan up!" Lily exclaimed as she walked into Ethan's room. Grayson went to answer the door.

Lily entered Ethan's room and saw him wrapped in a cocoon with his duvet. She smiled as she walked towards him. Sitting on his bed, she began to wake him up. "Eth? Wakey wakey! You're mum and sister are here. I think your dad just arrived. Come on. Wake up!" She shook him. He opened his eyes and stared at her.

He sighed as he crawled out of bed. Together, they walked into the living room. There was now a man talking to Grayson. When he smiled, Lily noticed it was very similar to Grayson's smile. "Ethan!" Mrs Dolan exclaimed as she hugged her son.

Lily smiled as she made her way to Grayson. He wrapped his arms around her as he introduced the man. "Lily, this is my dad; Sean. Dad, this is Lily; my girlfriend". Lily shook his hand while giving him a friendly smile.

"I hope he's treating you right" Mr Dolan said.

Lily let out a small giggle. "He is". They then joined the rest of the Dolans on the couch. They spent the day talking and catching up on each others lives. Grayson and Lily were holding hands the whole time they spoke.

It was getting late, and Mrs Dolan was cooking everyone a meal. Everyone was sitting in the living room talking about absolutely anything that came to mind. They were all laughing at the stories the Dolans were telling about each other.

It was 9pm when the Dolans decided to leave. Ethan and Grayson said goodbye to their family. Cameron hugged Lily before she left. "Please take care of him. He may be a big guy, but he's a softy; very sensitive. Promise you'll look after him?" Cameron whispered in Lily's ear.

Lily smiled as she hugged tighter. "I promise". They broke apart and said goodbye. When the Dolans were gone, Lily turned to the twins. "I need to get home. I enjoyed today, thank you" she said as she was walking towards the door.

"Wait!" Grayson yelled. "I'll walk you home". They left the apartment and began to walk to Lily's house. They walked hand-in-hand along the streets of LA. They arrived at Lily's, and stood by the front door.

"I really enjoyed today" Lily said.

Grayson smiled at her. "I'm glad you did". He slowly pulled her into a kiss. It last for a couple seconds until they broke apart. "I'll see you tomorrow" he said before walking away. Lily watched him disappear into the night before going inside.
