"Mama you know i aint wit' allat' stuff". I said drying my car off.

"I know but its about time fa' you to find someone Malik". My ma said sitting on the porch. "Now im tired of you just trying to sleep around".

"Whatchu' mean sleep aroun' i aint doin' that".

"Malik Jacob don't you be lying to me. i kno' what you be doin' boy"

I just looked at her and shook my head. " 'Ight mama i'm just livin' life right na' i ain't tryin' to commit to someone yet i'm only 23 years old. I got plenty of time".

"You don't know fa' sure if you got plenty of time. Lord forbid if something happens to you but you should start dating to find someone or at least think 'bout it".

" Okay I'll think 'bout it but I'm not promising nothin'. Ok"? I said opening my water bottle and drinking some .

She smiled at me like she accomplished something and got up heading towards the door. " Okay now come on in this house so you can eat".

I jumped on the porch and walked in after her. "What did you cook".

"Food".

"What kind of food" I asked sitting down.

"The kind 'dat I cook on the stove 'dat you eat" She said making me a plate

"Why you have to say allat' just tell me the food".

"Eitha' way you gone eat it so hush your mouth".

"Yes ma'am"

"Hey umm do Y'all have this one in the size of a 8". A girl asked holding a black and red snapback.

"Umm hold on one moment so I can check". I said as I walked towards the back.

I got the girl the hat and checked her items out. "You have a nice day". I said.

"You too" She said then walked out.

" GOSH can 3:15 get here any faster" My friend James said.

"Right i'm tired and have an exam at 4 I don't even know why I came in". I said leaning over the counter.

" What you do-".

"Um can I get some help Miss". Some dark skin guy said.

"Sure". I went around the counter to where he stood. "How may I help you, sir"

"Um do y'all have any more Chicago Bull hats". He asked looking around the shelves again.

"No but there will be some in tomorrow I believe".

"Damn alright well i guess ill be back tomorrow" He said then walked out.

"Mmm girl he was fine" James said eating skittles.

"Yea I guess".

"Ill taste his rainbow". He said plopping some skittles in his mouth and watching the guy walk.

"James please go find some work to do". I said shaking my head.

"No I'm fine. Back to what I was asking you before Mr. Sexy walked in. What you doing later on today?"
