Chapter 2 Tahna

 " Did you have fun at the ball, Thailia?" Tahna asked me on our way be home."  Did you meet anyone interesting?"

" Tahna you and me both know no one is as interesting as you." I laughed, " And that's no a complete."

When we landed I walked to my room with Zoella, She upbraided my hair and made my bed," So tell me about your new boyfriend."

" Oh shut up Zoella." I snapped. " You can leave now Zoey I'm very tired."Once Zoella was gone I called Moon inside , as she Jumped on the window seal she let out a faint " Merrow." She pawed at my hand as if she wanted to go back out. "Moon no, you can't go outside tonight."  I went over to my bed as She jumped on my shoulder. " Good Night Thailia." She meowed. Being my pet , Moon was given the power to talk, she normally only talks when it's just me or Zoella. " Good Night moon."I slowly feel asleep as she curled beside my side.

"knock knock!" Zoella was standing at my door. "Come In Zoey." I set up as zoella walked over with Tray of toast and jam. As I ate she picked out a light blue dress, Moon jumped On my window seal as a bird landed on the other side of the glass. As I finished I got dressed and went downstairs to the court yard.

" Good morning  Thailia." Tahna walked past me.

"Princess Thailia ! It's the queen." A guard escorted Tahna and me to my mother's chamber. She was sitting there , her face white , her hands cold , and her eyes life less. The King was sitting at her bed side holding her hand as she talked quietly. "Princess Thailia the queen has Black Cough, She only has a week left at the most." The doctor said as he exited the room.

" Thailia?" Mother called me as I walked over to her side. Her hand was cold as she held mine, Her eyes were off focused as a tear ran down my check. Tahna walked over to me as I fell into his arms.

" Why must she leave us, Tahna?"

" She must leave in order for you to be Queen. Let's go outside you could use some fresh air." We walked to the rose garden and set down infront  of the fountain. Everyone was In side with the queen , so we were alone. As Tahna held me wiping the tears from my eyes once or twice, he kissed my head. We set there , tahna holding me , as I cried. " The Lord will take care of us Thailia." We got up as he followed me back to the queen's chamber.

" Tahna?" She called him over and whispered something in his ear as my father shook his hand. Then walked over to me, his eyes spoke of a promise as he looked at me. " Thailia ?" I walked over to mother as she spoke to me in a low voice. " Darling , you are a beautiful , strong girl. You are going to be a wonderful Queen. Sever Cladia with your heart as I did." A tear ran down my face as he eyes meet mine. " Yes mother."

" Thailia can I talk to you?" Tahna said as we walked down the hall, we stopped at the door of a spare meeting  room and went in.

" Yes Thana what is it?"

" I made a promise with The King and Queen."

" Yes what was the promise?"

" I promise that no matter what , no matter what happens that I will protect you and always be there for you." As our eyes meet her kknelled  down and grabbed my hand." Princess Thailia I am truly in love with you ,and I will never let anyone hurt you."  He got up as my eyes focused on his eyes, he lending in as our lips meet.

As I walked into the dining hall for lunch I stopped by me room to fix me hair and put my crown on. Moon jumped on my shoulder " So looks like you know has two boyfriends." I picked her up and sat her on my bed. I walked into the dining hall and sat down beside Tahna. The hall was Quite , which wasn't normal. Every once and a while Zoella or Tahna would try to cheer me up with a joke or a random word .

 After Dinner I went to the stables to give Ceti , My dapple gray mare, A apple. She was in the stable on the left next to Tahna's horse ,Corvi. Ceti and Corvi were bother and sister, Corvi was a Black and white painted ( like his Father) , While Ceti was Dappled ( like her mother). As She ate her treat I Took her bridle off and hung it up , " I will take you out tomorrow I promise." I said as  I shut the stable doors. I walked to my bed room as Zoella greeted me " Good night Thailia." I slowly feel asleep as Moon settled beside me. on.

The next morning I woke up early and put a purple dress. I walked over to Tahna's room with Tea, I set the tea on the table beside him. I walked over to his window And looked at the ocean, A Pod of sea maids passed through the water as a pack of dolphins  followed. " Thanks for the tea Thailia." Tahna was sitting up looking at me as I walked over and pored me a cup. " sleep well Tahna?" I asked as I walked over to his book case. " Yes did you?"

" Yeah. That's weird I have the same book case in the same spot."

"Pull the yellow book out half way."  I followed his intrusions as the book case parted. A door was left behind the bookcases, from my room to Tahna's." Cool isn't it?" Tahna asked as he walked over to me.

" Can I do this?"

" Yes. If you ever need me , just pull the yellow book on your side."

I walked over and  put my tea on the tray , then Tahna and I walked to mothers chamber. When we reached the door , mother was laying their with father at her side. " Thailia ?"

I walked over and sat at her bed side. " You will be queen of Cladia, once .. once ."

" Once I join your mother in heaven you will be crowned Queen." A tear ran down my check at the thought of losing both my father and mother." Yes Mother." I walked over to Tahna as he held me. " come on Thailia , maybe a book will cheer you up."

We walked to the library in the west wing. As we sat down on the love seat in  the middle, Tahna held me. " Hey Thailia I know what will make you feel better, Tag your it."  I chased Him upstairs and thought the sections. " Haha now your it." He chased me To the top then I turned. I lost him on the other floors, as I turned around his eyes meet mine in surprise. He leaned  in to kiss me , before our lips meet i turned " sorry Tahna!" He looked shocked as he backed off. " Oh its fine , not like I wanted to kiss you or anything." I turned around as he was standing there "Is something wrong Thailia?" Tahna asked as he looked at me  unsure. " No I'm fine."

As we left the library I went to go find Zoella, I search her bed room first and soon enough she was sitting at her desk reading. " So what's the plan for tonight?" She looked up and put her glasses down.

" Just tell Tahna I'm taking you on a ride." She got up and put her book up in her book case. I walked out and into my room. I grabbed a cape, my crown and Fixed my hair in a braid. " where are you off to?" Tahna  was standing in my door way. " Zoella and I are going on a ride , alone. we should be back later."

" Fine with me , see you later." He walked out as I grabbed Zoella from her room. We walked to the stables and saddled Ceti and Gidel , Zoella's Chestnut. Zoella was talking to AlahI go on Ceti While I got on Ceti. " Coming Zoella or are you going to stay her and flirt." At that Zoella go on Gidel, we rode to were there was a small , hidden opening in the wall. We got off our horses , then squeezed through the opening.

On the other side Phyon was standing there, I ran over to him and kissed him. Tears came to my eyes as my voice shrugged " Phyon Somethings wrong , It's the Queen."
