I just moved to Seoul. A sigh escaped my lips. I already missed America, and of course, this is where a popular gang I knew of even in America. "So, honey, what do you think?" My mothers gentle voice brought me back into reality.
"I miss America already." I sighed truthfully. I saw a frown plaster her face.
"Your grandmother needs our care, Scarlet. You know that." She explained. I nodded.
"Yeah, I know." I gave her a fake smile. I saw a mirror out of the corner of my eye. I walked over to it and stared at myself in the mirror. I had wavy black hair that came down to my waist in soft waves, chocolate brown eyes, and pale skin even hours in the sun couldn't tan. I saw the top corner cracked.
"I've missed you two so much! I'm so glad you two are back in Seoul!" My grandmother exclaimed in pure glee. A real smile placed my lips.
"Hey, grandma." I waved my hand. She walked towards me and wrapped her arms around me tightly. I hugged her back. She finally released and hugged my mother.
"Hey, mom. It's nice to see you." My mother softly said. My father was dead. He died from a shooting when I was eleven, and now I'm nineteen. "Oh, and Scarlet, school starts tomorrow. Remember to set your alarm at six." She reminded me.
"Yeah, alright. I'll do that tonight." I smiled reassuringly at her.
~~~
Beep! Beep!
I yawned myself awake and stretched. "Shut up!" I growled. I turned it off and lazily awoke fully. Another yawn escaped my lips. I sleepily walked to the door and harshly pulled it open. I closed it behind me as I walked through. I was never a morning person, anyway.
~~~
I drove myself to school. My mother insisted to drive me, but I simply declined. I parked my car and slammed the door shut. I walked into the school. Finally arriving at my classroom, the teacher said she'd introduce me. I waited outside and leaned against the door. "Scarlet, come in!" A voice called. I walked in and revealed my face. They all stared at me, and I knew why.
My nose piercing.
I only got this piercing since someone brought my self-esteem lower. I finally had enough of their crap and wronged them. I waved my hand shyly. "Hi, my name is Scarlet Anoshia. I moved here from America and I hope we all get along!" I smiled softly.
"Alright, Scarlet, sit in the back next to Jungkook." I nodded. I recognized that name and mentally trembled.
He was apart of the gang I heard of.
I sat next to him. I glanced at him and saw him staring at me lazily. "How'd you get the piercing?" He asked suddenly.
"Huh?"
"The piercing, how'd you get it?"
"I'll tell you later." I then turned my attention back to the teacher. I took out my notebook and started writing down notes.
"Just tell me!" He whined lowly.
"Someone brought my self-esteem down. I showed them I was confident with changing my appearance. There." I explained. He shrugged.
"Not bad. Plan on getting any more? They're really cool. I-"
"Jungkook! Mind telling us what you're talking about?" The teacher yelled. You flinched. Her voice was terrifying.
"Nope! I don't want to tell!" Jungkook growled.
"Tell us." She sneered.
"I said no. Are you deaf?" He sneered back. The teacher rolled her eyes and went back to teaching. "Anyway-"
