The other day was the best Raven had ever since she entered the institute… actually it was the best she had ever since the accident. After the accident her world changed. Every day was nothing but a nightmare. It was tragic and it was heart breaking. She believed that sooner or later everyone would accept her but her efforts were useless as shit. The old happy go lucky she was changed into a gloomy, cold, insensitive lady. She entered Xavier Institute for mutants hoping that it would be the place where the pain she felt would decease but like everything in her life entering the institute was a mistake. When she entered the place her sadness grew.

The hate for being a mutant increased and eventually it ended up her hating herself for being a mutant and hating the entire mutant itself. She spent her days cursing her life and each and every mutant that had ever lived. She knew she was being unfair but she can’t help it.  But yesterday while playing basketball all by herself, she felt like as if she was back to her old self. All the pressure she was feeling vanished. For her, playing basketball surely is pain relieving, but that’s the problem it was just a pain reliever. It won’t take the pain she was feeling away but rather it would only took the pain and sadness for a moment then it would return. And that is exactly why she was in a club right now. The pressure had returned and it was worst.

She was in a night club wearing a dark blue short strapless open back dress. Honestly it was way too revealing for her type but she doesn’t care. She had her raven hair down in lazy curls and she had this shiny shimmering dark blue stilettos. She didn’t bother putting too much make up since being beautiful was not in her plans. The main reason she was in the club was to get wasted and get the stress off of her. Maybe even get laid or something but hey she wasn’t a flirt.

How would she get back to the Xavier Institute??  She doesn’t care and she doesn’t know. But she can always sleep on the sidewalk. And she doesn’t mind whatever happened to her.

The atmosphere of a club wasn’t new to her for she was once a party freak but that was long time ago and now the ambience of the club was really unfamiliar. But that won’t stop her. She went to the bar to get some drinks before doing anything. She ordered some vodka and drank all of it without stopping for a second. And after finishing all the vodkas she started getting dizzy. But that’s just an appetizer. Before she even realized what she was doing she was in the dance floor with some other guy dancing to the beat. And when the guy started touching her she slapped his hands and walked away.

She went out of the club stumbling here and there. And when she finally regained her balance she realized she don’t really know where she was. She’s lost and drunk.

Beautiful, she was a beautiful lady, a drunken lady by the looks of it. He had seen her walk out of the bar and had followed her for quite some time. She was alone, all by herself. She took her sweet time and it wasn’t very long before he realized she was lost.

Neal smirked. He only had to figure out one thing before he could grab her, and in order to do that, he had to talk to her. There was a time when Neal needed torture and murder lift at all hours of the day. While still part of the business dealings or a game, Neal would spend his afternoons making hourly trips to the roads of New York, partly to practice his powers, partly to terrorize and kill humans, and partly to seek women and abduct them. Neal swiftly skirted off around the building and got to the other side of the road, and started down it as she walked from the other end.

Neal had his cloak’s hood pulled up, rather not be recognized that night; if he was to get this girl and make her his pet then he would love to get his hands on her.

“You alright?” he approached her and asked gently. He took off his cloak, and avoided her eyes as he placed it around her shoulders.

Raven turned around and faces the guy who just asked her if she was alright. “Why would you think a drunken lady would be alright?” she asked the guy with sarcasm evident in her tone and her eyebrows rose.

She was about to walked away but she just noticed the cloak placed on her shoulders. “Where did I get this?” she asked herself.

***

Neal laughed and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Attempting to look like soothing, kind, and gentle.

“Yeah….I sees you are too drunk” he said gently. “Here let me take you to my place alright? You can lie on my couch and sleep it off until the morning, then I’ll take you home” he smiled at her, and gently started to guide her out of the road.

He had multiple little rooms set up in hotels and even apartments that her used irregularly, they were often dirty and unused when he thought of visiting them, but he knew of one of his apartments near there, he’d do as he said and until she passed out, then he would do  what he wanted.

“Come on here….I’ll carry you” he bent down, and out his arm behind her knees, before pulling up, and taking her full weight in his arms.

He pulled her closer to his chest and smiled down at her gently. “What’s your name?” he asked gently, walking down the road, carrying his damsel, feeling like a knight who had just save his damsel in distress, only to deliver her onto the gates of Hell.

***

Raven stared unbelievably at the guy who had just carried her. She tried to get down from being carried but the way the guy was holding her was something she couldn’t get down that easily.

“Hey! You! Put me down will you?” she asked.  She knew that asking that was useless because a guy like him is not the type you could just order around; anyway it’s worth a shot.

Without getting an answer from him, she gave up. She studied him, looking at him carefully, observing how every part of his face moves but in same way she didn’t let him noticed what she was doing because that would be embarrassing. For a second the guy looks like mischievous.

“I don’t want to burden you for carrying a fat ass like me so you should put me down” she stated ignoring the question the guy asked her

***

Neal smiled slightly when the lady asked him to bring her down. Of course he ignores her, he carried her down the street, adjusting her slightly so that she was easier to carry, and he glanced down when tugged on his arm. She was warm, which was nice, and pretty aggressive. And pretty. Glancing down again, he noticed that she did was pretty and fragile which makes him want to protect her.

“And you’re not a burden to me” he said lightly, and pushed open a door to a building with his foot. He made his way up to the stairs, almost to the very top of the building, before he opened the door to an apartment with a key he somehow managed to get out of his pocket. The second they walked in, the rooms smelt like eau de parfum.
