Mom: Y/N, are you kidding me!? I never even heard about this guy!"
Me: I have talked about him before, you're over reacting.
Mom: No I'm not! you invited a stranger into our home. Y/N me and your father wanted to spend time with you!!
Me: Mom I don't have to come
She didn't reply after that, I let a out a huge sign. And proceeded in grabbing my car keys. I need to get some fresh air. After I locked my door an older looking man approached me.
"Well, good evening beautiful." He sneered with the sound of phlegm in his throat.
I awkwardly smiled trying my best to go around this creep without shoving him. But he literally had me cornered.
"You single?" He asked desperately.
I quickly replied
"No, I have a boyfriend."
And quick note, I'm a horrible lair, I just can't do it. And I tend to have "BS" written on my face.
"No you don't." He said, I then noticed he was slurring his words, and reeked of alcohol.
Before I could think of anything to do, I heard the elevator doors open, I could see the doors straight from my door. Joji walked out holding a drink in his hand.
"That's him now!" I explained as I pointed toward Joji.
The man quickly turn around and glared harshly at Joji.
Joji looked unforgettable puzzled by my statement. He then notice the desperate look on my face, which gave him the impression I was getting robbed.
He swiftly walked over telling the man "leave her alone, please" calmly. The man reacted nervously, which surprised me considering George was shorter then the creep. I later assumed it was George's body language.
He stubbled off, and left me with Joji, who gave me a "I just saved your fucking life!" Look.
"Now I get why you're mom didn't want you going to the airport alone." He said with a huge smile on his face."
My adrenaline instantly died down, and my irritation full my body.
"Yeah," I muttered, as I pushed passed him and heading to stairs. I sat quietly on a bench outside the apartment building. Cars and people passed by, and the smog of the city hid a large portion of the stars. Even though it was mid July the cold air chilled my bones.
I was out there was five minutes until Joji sat besides me with a hoodie on this time. He probably assume it was cold out.
"Hey, kiddo." He said softly"Hey." I replied emotionally, in a some sorta attempts to hide the pain in my voice.
"So, are you gonna tell George what's been pissing in your cereal lately?" He asked with a little smile on his face.
"Me, I've been pissing in my cereal." I said, choking on my own tears.
"My parents.. my mom is just always complaining. Like it's as if I can't do anything right!" I mumbled, allowing hot tears to roll down my cheeks.
Joji let out a huge sign, brushing his hands through his hair.
"And I'm not helping with the whole thing, huh?" He started,
"Like, me going to Arizona is probably isn't a good idea."
I started to wipe the tears from my face, I let a small chuckle.
"No, I'm going to Arizona and you coming with me." I said with whatever form of power I had left in my body.
I'm not following orders.
