Chapter 6

We walk over to a table and put our stuff down when I feel a cold, wet body wrap around my waist. I turn around in shock. It was Nash. "Hey!" I said.

"Hi! I'm glad you're here!"

"Me too!" I replied giggling. I probably looked stupid. "Long day you know?"

"You're telling me..." Nash answered. He was kind of funny. I looked over at all of the boys playing chicken and Cameron was looking at me with a sad look. I smiled at him and he waved to me so I waved back.

"Why don't you come play chicken with us!" Nash said excitedly. I nodded my head and Nash gave me a smirk, giving me the impression he was up to something. Then he said "In that case........" I felt my feet lift off the ground so I wrapped them around his waist and draped my arms over his shoulders burying my head into his chest. He jumped into the water with his arms around my waist. When we got back to the surface he let go and started to laugh. "Not funny." I said pouting. "I'm sorry" he said sticking out his lower lip.

"C'mon you can be on my shoulders." Nash said. I was partners with Nash, Emma was with Cam, Darcy was with Matt and Sara was with Shawn.

"Hey, don't you have a brother who's here with you guys?" I asked Nash.

"Yeah, Hayes is here with us but he's down in our room with a few if the other guys. He didn't want to come swimming tonight, why?" he replied.

"Oh. Because my friend over there may or may not have a little crush on him, just saying." I said pointing at Emma.

"Well I will definitely pass the message along nonchalantly" Nash said winking at me. I rolled my eyes at him and we swam over to the other guys to play chicken. Nash lifted me up on his shoulders with ease.

"1....2....3....CHICKEN!!!" Matt yelled. We all grabbed each others arms and the boys under us were splashing each other in the faces. Down went Darcy and Matt and not long after Emma and Cameron fell too. It was me and Nash against Sara and Shawn left and I felt unbeatable. I grabbed Sara's arms and tugged her down just hard enough to make her fall into the water.

"WOOO!" Nash yells throwing his arms into the air. He goes underwater to let me down and when he comes up pulls me in for a hug. I laugh and hug him back.

"I want to go into the hot tub!" I say

"Great, I'll come with you" Cameron says without hesitation. I smile at him and we walk into the hot tub. I sit down in the corner and he comes and sits right next to me.

"So I saw our Instagram picture today.." Cameron said.

"Well that's a little embarrassing" I said blushing.

"No way! I think we're pretty cute!" he replied. I rolled my eyes at him.

"So..." he said shyly "How do you and Nashty know each other?"

"We met last night in the elevator. I ran into him being the big klutz I am and he caught me. He's pretty cute." I said. Cameron's smile faded.

"And you didn't know it was him? aren't you here for Magcon?" he said.

"Well yeah that's why I'm here, but I only came with Emma because she got tickets for us for her birthday last week and I agreed to come. To be honest I wasn't really sure who you were before today." I said.

"Well what is your perspective of Cameron Dallas if I may ask." Cameron said.

"I think Cameron Dallas is pretty cool. You remind me of one of my older brothers." I didn't want to get personal but Cameron just seems like a guy you can tell anything and everything to. "I was in a bad relationship with my ex boyfriend Derek about a year ago and let's just say my brothers helped me out a lot. It was an abusive relationship and it went on for about 2 1/2 years." I wiped a tear from my eye. I hated getting emotional especially in front of strangers. "They helped me out of it and my ex was taken care of and he hasn't bothered me since. Cameron wrapped me in his arms hugging me. "I am so sorry, you didn't deserve that. Nobody does." He said. Something about Cameron was really comforting.

CAMERON'S POV
When Allie said she was going in the hot tub I immediately said I would join her. This is my chance to talk to her one on one. She told me she thought Nash was cute and I'm not going to lie it hurt a little, but then she started telling me about her ex and was crying. She said I reminded her of her big brothers. I wiped a tear from her face and hugged her tight. "I am so sorry, you don't deserve that. Nobody does." I told her. I wanted to do anything I could to make her feel better. I wanted to be like her older brother.
