EVERYBODY DESERVED A DEATH THAT WAS THEIR OWN . . .

THEY WERE TWO WORLDS APART, definitely not cut from the same stone━or so they both thought. A vampire and a werewolf could never be together, it was like how you shouldn't ever drink orange juice after brushing your teeth because you'd get left with a bad aftertaste. That is what Isaac Lahey and Lottie Irwin were together . . . a bad aftertaste.

Charlotte 'Lottie' Irwin was a recently turned vampire, and she fucking hated it. Yeah, she might've liked vampire movies and rock music, but she never thought she would be bitten by some freak of nature. After working her usual Saturday shift at the Nirvada Roller Rink, she was outside smoking a cigarette before she walked home when someone snuck up behind her and fucking bit her neck. Can you believe that? She knew there were some weirdos in her town, but biting had taken it a step too far. Before she could give them a taste of her own medicine (pepper spray), they kept on biting all while forcing her to suck their blood. Then, they snapped her neck . . .

The next day, Charlotte woke up on the floor outside her workplace, covered in blood and without any memory of what happened the night before. Shaking off the weird feeling in her gut, she made her way home just to get an earful from her mom, which sounded even more grating than usual; it was like all of her senses had heightened overnight. Standing in front of her bathroom mirror to take her makeup off, she noticed two holes on the side of her neck, and that is when it hit her . . . she got murdered last night.

Now it was time for this newly turned freak to navigate the ways of a vampire while also navigating her new feelings towards Isaac Lahey. Something was pulling her towards him, and she was absolutely not here for it. Now was definitely not the time for relationships, right? Right.
