As I walk into the apartment, the smell of garlic and pesto flood my nose.
"Hey Grandma is mom home yet?"
She looks up from the pan on the stove. "No, she won't be home till eight, dear."
"Okay. What are you making?"
"Oh just some pasta. Dinner will be ready in five minutes so can you set the table?"
"Sure." I walk over to the cabinets taking out two plates. While i'm setting the table my mind is somewhere else.
Who is Adam? I know hardly anything about him and today I've spoken to him like we've known each other for life. Although I find him attractive I'm not the kind of person that "dates" people. Sure, I've made out with two or three boys, but that doesn't mean I want a boyfriend or anything. I'm just hoping that isn't what Adam is looking for.
