"Courtney wake up. Breakfast is ready." I hear my mom calling my name. I really don't want to wake up. But then I remember it's the first day of summer. My life is finally starting. This was my last summer before high school. 8th grade sucked. So many test sand studying. But it was finally summer and I was gonna have fun every minute of it.
I put on my favorite muscle tee and slip on my favorite shorts. I put on my black converse and sunglasses. I walk down stairs and grab a piece of toast. "
"Ok, honey we have a suprise for you. Your dad wanted to tell you tomorrow but that doesn't give you enough time to pack," my mom says when I sit down.
Pack for what?" I asked.
"We're going to a California!"
"Oh,'' I say, disappointed. I'm want to spend the summer hanging out with my boyfriend, Daniel and my bestfriend Mia. "
"We're leaving tomorrow so you should start to pack soon."
"Um well actually. I was wondering if I can hang out with Mia since, you know I'm not gonna see her until high school." I say.
"Ok but be back by 7'' she said. Well this is just fantastic.
