"So, do you wanna come?" I, Caroline Elizabeth Forbes asked my long lost best fiend Aria Montgomery if she was coming to my incredible wedding with her soon to be husban Stefan Salvatore.
"Of Course I'm coming! I wouldn't miss it for the world" Aria's voice buzzed back through the phone.
It was as though we had never stopped talking, yet it had almost been 10 years. "OMG where has the time gone, the last time we talked we were 6 7 years old."
"I know." Aria answered, "Whilst I was in Rosewood I always knew there was a part of me missing, yet I couln't figure out what it was, but now I have realised that it was you."
We spent two hours remeniscing about their past. All the while, I felt guilty about not telling her that she is a vampire, yet. Just as our conversation ended, Stefan casually walked into the room.
"Who was that?" he asked curiously.
"Oh, Aria, she was just my bestest friend from enfant school, before she moved to Rosewood."
"Oh, I'm so happy for you," he whispered but I could tell something was wrong.
"What's wrong?" I asked with concern; I hate seeing my bouyfriend upset.
"Well the reason why Aria left Mystic Falls was because Damon compelled her to and he compelled you to forget each other because he was jealous of your friendship," Stefan sobbed at the thought of his dead brother.
I was so angry at Damon that I wanted to throw something, but instead I chose the better option and my boyfriend, his hands touching my shoulders. It was our first kiss since Damon had died, two months ago. This kiss felt so refreshing, and we both needed it; we instantly felt much better. I had forgotten the taste of his lips against mine, it had been so long. When we finally decided to pull away, I answered with,
"At least now I know why he had always been so jealous of me, and selfish towards me."
Stefan smiled. I was so happy that I had cheered him up.
