Rileys POV
Today is the hardest day of my life. The day I have to tell Lucas I'm moving. I walked over to Lucas's house. I knocked on the door, and his Mom answered.
"Oh. Hello Riley!" Lucas's Mom said
"Hey Mrs. Friar! Is Lucas home?" I said hopefully
"Yep. Up in his room. Go right up" she said cheerfully
I went up. And walked in to his room.
"Hey Riley" He said
I walked up to him and he tried to give me a kiss, but I rejected it.
"What's wrong...?" He said sadly.
"Lucas..." I said trying to keep the tears in.
"What...?" Lucas said
"I-I'm - I'm moving" I blurted out.
I couldn't hold it in anymore. I sobbed into his shoulder.
Lucas's POV
I couldn't believe it. I sat there frozen. I wanted to cry but I didn't want Riley to cry even harder.
"Riley..." I said slowly and sadly
"I'm sorry Lucas..." she said while trying to stop crying.
"It's okay... look on the bright side. We can face time eachother. And I promise I'll visit one day..."
"Really?" She said while a smile grew on her face
"Yep" I said smiling
She had a big grin on her face. We hugged each other.
"I'll still miss you..." she said.
"I'll miss you too. But what about our relationship?"
"What about it? We don't have to break it off do we? Do we...?"
I knew long distance never works but if I said we had to break it off, she'd be crushed.
"Of course not baby..."
Riley's POV
I was relieved when Lucas said we didn't have to break it off. I smiled and said
"I love you, Lucas"
"I love you too, Riley"
"Well I have to go pack. I'm leaving today..." I said while crying
"Bye..." Lucas said while a tear dropped down his cheek.
"Bye..." I said while sobbing.
I walked home that day sobbing. I wondered a lot of things. What will Lucas do while I'm gone? What about girl meets world. Will they replace me? Will Maya find a new best friend? I thought so many things. I sobbed as I walked home thinking about Maya's, Farkle's, and Lucas's sad eyes when I told them the news. I arrived home and it turns out my Mom packed my stuff because the plane was leaving in 20 minutes. We rushed to the airport. And we went on the plane. Through the flight, I repeated multiple times
"I love you Lucas, I love you Maya, I love you Farkle." This was the worst day of my life...
