[BL] Finding the Soul of Teleportation (EXO fanfiction)

Chapter 5

This is the pilot speaking," I heard Yifan's voice come up on the announcement system; "we will be landing shortly. Flight attendants please prepare for landing." Everyone scattered and passengers went back to their seats as if nothing happened and only a slight turbulence was felt. Zitao had done a good job in freezing time. The evening sky glowed of red and orange tint. The plane landed perfectly, as expected of the soul of flight. The 12 of us left the plane silently, one after another.

Zitao was drained of energy and Yifan had him over his shoulders carrying him out of the plane. Sehun wrapped his arms around the Luhan's thin shoulders. Behind me was Chanyeol and Baekhyun followed by Jongdae, Joonmyun, Yixing, and Minseok. Everything around me was fuzzy. My eyes only focused on one thing: Kyungsoo. His black hair messy with annoyance fell perfectly over the narrow shoulders. Had I hurt him that much by keeping a secret?

"Ah~," a loud distinct voice spoke, "You must be Kai! Long time no see! You've grown!" I felt a sharp pain in my chest. Not a good time to lie about that,South. I hinted with my eyes.

Kyungsoo walked over to him, "don't start off lying to us." He said. His lips were fresh and full of color.

"Okay..." South spoke, "I guess you've met the real Kai – ah – Jongin." South spoke. "Well, I'm South, gatekeeper of the Japan. I'm the most outgoing of the four. You see, North is the good-two-shoes. West is the devil, he likes to play pranks on others. East is well, he's quiet but the cutest of us, but most likely you won't be able to see him. He hides very well. It is said he's in America, but since his power is on a much higher level than the rest of us, he can move his portal to wherever he wants." South wore a simple graphic t-shirt under a sleeveless hoodie and khakis.

"Really? Even on a plane?"

"There aren't any secrets  left right?" Kyungsoo asked. I felt guilty. There was ONE thing I haven't said, but it wasn't a necessary thing to say at the moment.

"Nope, I'm an open book. Ask me a question and I'll answer." South said smiling.

"I like you." Chanyeol and Baekhyun said together, "we would be really good friends."

"Yeah, that's for sure." Zitao said lifting his head from Yifan's shoulders. "Lively people fit in well with other lively people.

"Oh my God!! Are you hurt?" South said seeing Zitao. He was still drained of energy and his hair was glowing bright red. The tattoo behind his ear still had a faint blue glow.

"I'm fine." He said.

"I can help if you let me." South said really concerned. Yifan gave him an unsure face and decided to keep Zitao on his back.

"Oh, don't worry. I have powers too." A green symbol appeared over his head. The EXO symbol.

"I trust him." Zitao said patting Yifan's head. He let him down and South cupped his hands together and slowly spread them apart creating a circle of blue glow. He put it over Zitao's head like a ring on a finger and pulled it down over his body and placed it on the floor. A cylinder appeared around Zitao. "Ah~" he moaned.

A few seconds later the blue disappeared and Zitao ran to Yifan. "I feel as good as new~~" He pranced around the parking lot like a child.

"Lay – ahno – Yixing, you need some health addition too." South said, surprising all of the other members.

"Yixing is also using up his powers to heal us. He is hurt every time he heals someone." I spoke.

Yixing nodded and relaxed. His smile left his face and his hair turned blonde rapidly. He fell over into Joonmyun's arms. Joonmyun's eyes widened showing the whites very clearly. South repeated the motions and Yixing was better in no time.

"Do you have a limit?" Jongdae asked South.

"Nope, I'm immortal like that kid." He pointed at me. I looked over to Kyungsoo who seemed to have a dark aura forming around him.

"We were best friends when EXO was still a stable Kingdom." South said happily. I eyed him and he quickly shut his mouth.

"You're an open book all right." Joonmyun said.

"You said 'stable', what's that about?" Minseok asked.

"You must be Minseok of Frost. Well, you see EXO is still a kingdom. Essem is trying his best to rule, but is failing and he's making holographic images to wear the souls out. As the souls get stronger, Essem gets weaker." South gasped for a breath, "when the stones are together your powers will all go together into one vessel."

"Ah~ we need to find the stones!" Baekhyun exclaimed.

"We'll do that tomorrow. It's getting dark." South said getting into a sleek limousine. "This is your ride for now on." The 12 of them gasped and quickly filed into the luxurious vehicle.

"We'll start off at school. That is where the stone was last seen." South said. "You guys brought uniforms correct? I told Kyungsoo to inform the rest of you." I looked over to Kyungsoo.

"No secrets you say." I spoke with an unintentional attitude.

"Well what was I supposed to say to you, 'oh by the way, we'll be students in Japan again.' ?" kyungsoo spoke with sass.

"And me? 'ohh~ I'm immortal." I said, "how do I say that to a person I love and who will eventually leave me behind?!?" I started shouting. Everyone was staring.

"Ohh~~ I see East has some competition." South said, "East will be outraged that over the past 20 years you haven't met him because of a simple mortal." I slapped his cheek. "How dare you say that. Mortal or not I can't leave his side." I said.

Kyungsoo's anger seemed to have flown away. He hugged me and started crying. That was another first for today.

"What's wrong?" I asked suddenly lowering my voice.

"Saranghae." He whispered. Never had Kyungsoo said that in front of other. I guess it is the charm of South. He was able to get anything out of anyone. At least the truth behind East was spoken.

"By the way, where is East?" South said, suddenly changing his voice to a serious tone.

"You don't know?" I lied.

"Nope," South said, "East is the only one I can't get secrets out of." And me. I thought.

"Well, I'm sure he'll come when absolutely necessary. He always does." I lied again.

"Woah, so there were like....multiple wars?"Jongdae asked.

"Yup." South replied.

The limo stopped in front of a large fancy building. "This is your new resting place. Be up and ready for school. Wear your uniforms. There will be some magic tomorrow. I'll be here to pick you up at exactly 7:30. Don't be late." He stared at Chanyeol and Baekhyun as if he'd known their habits of tardiness. "G'night!" South shouted and slammed the door shut.

"Welcome, We have your rooms ready." Maids came out and bowed.
