~ Chapter One ~
It was a dark rainy night, a normal night when my I sat with my father, who happened to be a cop, consumed by boredom. We lived in a deserted village far far away, where only very few souls dared stay in it, and the others where lucky enough to escape its dreadful theme. No unfamiliar human would enter, for crimes and murders have been witnessed over and over again for more than 30 years. But my dad and I weren't just anyone. We were brave enough to stay. in fact we somehow had no where else to go, and my dad was a cop in the very same village. We lived in a small shelter, but that was enough for us. And we stayed here for the fact that i havent witnessed any murder since i was 5, escaping the creepy sights in here.
I am 18 now , and still , my father has me protected by not letting me go anywhere alone without someone from our neighbors, following my every step. It gets annoying really..
My dad was respected in our neighborhood, and loved by everyone. He was the one to protect them and defend everybody after all.. The village had a very little population, making us one family. Except for this one person, this one monster, inside the village, killing us one by one.
Next day , as we were laying each on a sofa watching some boring television, my dad got a phone call. i over heard the person on the other line informing dad that some awkward things are happening in the north part of the village- where we lived- and he was asked to go find out all about it and try to capture whoever was responsible for the horrendous acts. Yet he refused to tell me what it was all about .
After a good five minutes of pondering, dad turned the person on the call down because it was a dangerous job for him to go alone, and if something bad happens to my dad, there will be no other to protect the village, leaving it unsecured.
At dinner i was sitting and eating when i gathered my nerves and found the courage to ask dad if i am allowed to sleepover at a friends home in the north part of the village.
•"No "
•"But why dad!? It's just a friend's house not like im going into a kill zone or something ... its fine why don't u let me just for once"
•" I said no young lady , and close the subject!"
•"But dad , i'm 18 now why can't you trust me just once ?!!!"
I cried and went to my room
And kept thinking of a plan
"I got nothing , why cant i be like any other normal teenager living her life?!" I sighed.
I called my friend Stacy..
•"Hi stace ... Um i'm not allowed to sleepover "
•"Oh c'mon why!!!"
•"I tried but the old man is stubborn as fuck "
•"Why dont you sneak out once he sleeps , Just run away and come to my place! lock your door and just write a note telling your dad you want to over sleep since it's a holiday!"
•"Oh no i cant do that its alot of trouble"
•"Dont be a buzz killer ! "
•"Fine ... Okay stace ill try "
• " Bye "
• " Bye stacy"
I hung up, but what i didn't know is what was waiting for me outside.
