Don't Forget

It's felt like hours, I've been laying on my bed, facing a wall, Ian laying right beside me. I can't sleep, but I'm tired. Instead of sleeping, I've been thinking, and remembering. Remembering things that I don't actually remember happening. Weird. I keep hearing voices, but instead of freaking out like I normally do, I've been quietly listening to them, and what they're saying. Honestly, I don't understand what they're talking about half the time.

In the morning, we were on our way to the main room when I glanced out one of the windows, I stopped, a girl was sitting outside on a swing that was under one of the tree's.

"Derp, you alright?" Ian asks.

I look at him and smile, nodding before going over to the door that leads outside, "You go on, I'll catch up."

Ian shrugs before leaving without me.

I hesitate for awhile but eventually head outside into the fenced-in yard the hospital had. I stared at the girl, her back facing me as I slowly walked over.

I stop and watch her, she's sitting on the swing just staring at the open air.

Without warning, she starts talking, and that's when I recognized her, "You don't remember, do you?"

Lucy?

"How are you..." I honestly didn't know what to say, I thought she was gone for good.

Lucy sighs, "You're remembering, slowly. But why can't you remember the most important thing? I told you...don't forget."

I step closer to her, she glances back at me with a small smile on her face, "Remember what...?" I ask.

Lucy looks back up at the sky, the sun slowly rising in the distance, "It seems my playtime is almost over, how unfortunate."

"What are you even talking about!? How are you even here!" I yell.

She giggles, "You're so delusional."

At this point I was just confused and weirded out, so I decide to turn around and head back. Before I could even get close to the door, it slams shut, I ran over and try to open it but it refuses to move.

I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see Lucy, she looks absolutely terrified, blood was coming out of a slit on her throat, and she was missing an eye as if someone had stabbed her eye out. I jump back, hitting the door before Lucy starts screaming loudly, and it wasn't a normal scream, it was one of those screams you hear while you slowly cut their stomach open and watch them bleed out, they scream in horror and cry for you to stop. I flinch at the sudden sound of lightning, looking up as rain starting to pour down on me. I look back down at Lucy, but she's not there, disappeared as if she was never actually there.

Suddenly, the door opened behind me and I fell backwards, hitting my head on the floor. I look up at who opened the door, my vision slightly blurry for a moment. A confused David stared down at me. It took a moment before he held a hand out to me, I quickly took it and he helped me up.

David blinks slowly, "Why were you standing out in the rain screaming at yourself?" He asks me.

"I...I wasn't screaming at myself, I was talking to Lucy." I explain.

David looks out the small window on the door, "There's no one else out there."

"SHE'S A FUCKING DEMON OKAY!?" I suddenly snap at him for no reason.

He suddenly looks at me with a glare, I shiver slightly at it, "What's your problem?"

Feeling uncomfortable, I look behind me as someone started to walk over, it was Nick.
