Chapter 7

"I thought you guys were just gonna go to Starbucks or something and walk on the beach but no you start smoking weed and making out in a car"! Zelda said angrily. "I'm missing glee for this"! I laughed. I've never really liked glee.

"Sorry". I said blankly.

"Nah whatever I should chill out". She said.

I turned up the radio. My hands rested on my thighs. "I like blink-182". I said aloud looking out the foggy window. It was dark outside. Probably about 11 now. I put my feet up on the dash and put my seat back I pulled out my phone and called Calum. I wasn't gonna let Luke get between me and him. I really do like Calum alot. He's such a sweetheart and he's just the nicest guy you could meet unlike Luke. Ugh. Luke acts like he's all shy and vaunerable and shit but he's not. He's the biggest ass out there.

"Hey". I said sleepily.

I let Calum's voice filled my ears. His kiwi accent was so soft and relaxing. I could hear the other boys talking in the background. I could hear Luke asking Calum who he was talking to. Calum went into a quiet room away from everyone else.

"So do you wanna have coffee with me tommorow?" I asked.

"Sure where"?

"Starbucks would be cool". I said grinning.

I put on my leather jacket and skinny jeans with a band T and waited for calum outside on the doorstep. It was a rainy day outside. Calum pulled up in his red Volkswagen. I ran over trying not to get wet and opened the door. Calum wore a black jacket with a scarf and a black t shirt underneath it. I smiled and searched for money in my purse which I would use at Starbucks.

"Crap I forgot my wallet", I said fumbling through my purse.

"You don't need it I'll pay for your coffee". He said smiling.

Tiny rain drops ran across the window. It was only lightly spitting. The clouds were grey and swirling. Calum hit a puddle which splashed all over the shiny red car. Calum sighed.

"To bad the weather sucks or we could have walked in the park or something if you wanted to ", he looked out the window at the car ahead of us.

I could see the dark green Starbucks sign up ahead. We found a parking spot on the side of the street. Calums brown boots clapped against the ground beneath us. I grabbed his hand and walked down the sidewalk. His hand felt warm and it fit just right with mine. As I waited in line I felt tired so I rested my body against Calums. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I looked up at him and he kissed me on the cheek. His lips were soft but not as soft as Luke's. The lady that worked there asked us what we wanted. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and so did Calum. He paid for out coffees and we sat down at a table.

"Thanks Calum". I smiled.

I looked out the window to see a familiar figure walking towards the door clutching a girls hand. Shit it's Luke and Beth whore. I looked back over at Calum and avoided eye contact with Puke. I wasn't gonna let him ruin my date anyways. I zoned out of Calum's conversation. I couldn't help but stare at Luke. His hair looked extra tall today. He looked over at me and winked picking up his and Beth's coffees. They sat at the table which calums back was facing and Luke just has to sit so he is facing me. I zone back into the conversation I was having with Calum. I asked him about Australia and his family. He told me how his sister Mali was on The Voice and how he thinks we'd be good friends. I wanted to talk but I didn't have anything interesting to say to him.

"Hey Calum, Roni didn't notice you there". He said smirking like an idiot at me. And like that dumbass didn't notice us he winked at me he's just trying to ruin our date. Surprised he called me Roni and not Rachel.

Calum turned around and started to talk to them. I got bored and pulled out my phone to text Zelda. We stayed a little longer and finished up our coffees. Calum dropped me off back home. I went to the front door and Luke opened it. Why is he here. He already ruined my date.

"Get out of my house!" I shouted angrily.

"Why should I", he retorted.

"Cause I don't like you. You ruined my date with Calum and you got me arrested. Why don't you just fuck off already!" I yelled.

Luke was quiet for a moment he looked like he was about to kill someone. He clenched his fists which soon turned white. I hate him. He ruins everything for me and I can't stand how much of a ass he is to me and he's just rude and I hate him.

"I HATE YOU GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AND NEVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!" I screamed at the motionless Luke.

"Fine", he said as if he didn't care.

Luke pushed me out of his way and walked to his truck which was parked on the otherside of the road. He sped off angrily blasting loud screamo music from his car. I went into the house and plopped down on the couch. Blocking and removing Luke from my contacts felt good. I called Calum and told him I didn't want to date anymore and that we could still be friends. He took it well and joked around and giggled with me. I hung up. I didn't need anyone getting in the way of my life right now. I then got a text message from Michael who asked if me and Zelda wanted to come clubbing with him and Ashton. He told me Zelda had already said yes and that I should totally come. I accepted and put on a black lacy dress that made me look like I was going to a funeral. I curled my hair a little and reapplied my makeup which had rubbed off abit from earlier.

Tonight is my "all new and improved Roni night". That means no more Luke and back to my normal life I had without him.
