I'll start from the begining. I was a happy, fun-loving, fifteen year old girl. who lived her life to the very fullest. Developing normal. Getting taller, breasts developing normal,everything was fine physically and mentally until I got there. something was in the air, that  made my breath sour.

It wasn't my fault we had to go there. My parents got a good deal, for $450 dollars instead of $500. The money, of course,  went for gas.

Yes we drove. We didn't have enough to go on a plane. First, we'd drive a two hour drive to the pier, then we'd catch the ferry we rented for $100 at 7, and sit in our car on the ferry for another 3 hours, and then an hour ride on the road to the lake. Kinowah Lake. by then we'd have just enough for a dinner at this diner.

I texted my friend, Caity, about how horrible this place was.

Our texts:

Caity: Ahh kam, quit whining its just a week

Me: ik, its just ticking me off that they drag me out here, and they think i enjoy it.

Caity: Just let stuff happen....

Then my mother chimed in:

"Kamille! get off your phone! its family time, you need to talk to us, not Cait." my mom chirped to me.

Me: I gtg, "family time" ugh bye

Caity: lol ok byez.

~~~texts are done~~~
"now, we are almost to the pier, you wont get service, ok?" my dad told me.
"kay." I grumped
I leaned back in the backseat, grunting i had to sit by my two annoying little brothers.
"Shut up!" Andrew whined.
"No!" Brennan evily said back.
"Boys!" Mom cried.
"Sam..." dad cooed
"mom!" Andrew said
"Just shut up all of you!" I yelled. I hated it when they fought.
"What did I tell you about saying that?" Dad said in his deep voice.
Mom rolled her eyes, and continued onto the rode.
Brennen managed to sqeeze his hand between the seat and my back and slapped Andrew with all he had in him.
"Ow-ah!" Andrew yellped. Brennan was the second oldest, he was 14 and Andrew was 12, obviously they were bound to fight.
I grabbed Brennan's hand away from his brothers face and flicked the middle of his forehead and whispered fiercely:
"If you don't stop, i will brake it." I pointed my eyes towards Brennan's fingers trying to squirm out of my grip. I guess I was loud enough for my mom to hear, too.
"Girls and boys, we are only 6 miles away from the pier, i WILL turn back-"
"Go ahead." I snobbed.
"Do not talk to me that way, young lady." She said so sharply, it made me feel smaller than a pea.
She turned back around in the driver's seat, and let out an impatient sigh, blowing her hair up  hanging down from her pony-tail.
"Alright, we're here, Kamille, did you bring your charger?" Mom said.
"no."
"you might as well turn your phone off, you'll need it later." I did exactly as my mother said, but not to please her. It was so I could text Caity as soon as i got service.
 But of course, I didn't.
Later we got to a gas station. And we needed Gas from the ferry ride (we had to keep the AC running or else we'd bake.), and the 1  hour drive to our cottage.
